“Nice hotel fantastic location”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

Stayed here 12th - 15th May 2014. We had room 44 having requested it after reading reviews on trip advisor. Nice room. Only problems are rooms are small and there isn't much shelf and drawer space and our shower door didn't close easily. The breakfast room doesn't have enough seating area for all the guests to eat at the same time. There was a good selection of continental breakfast. We asked if we could make ourselves a cup of tea during the day but we're told 'no'. Also the church bells did disturb our sleep a bit in the morning. However the staff were pleasant and helpful and the best thing about this hotel is it's location. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: Room 44 is one of the better ones

Just returned from a 3 day break. Went with another girl friend and was put in the attic. Really horrible room. They explained that as we had requested a twin bedded room, that was all they had. They did change the room after we complained, to a double room where they separated the beds. Breakfast was included and a central location. But don't think I would recommended this for single sex groups, couples only really.

This is a very nice and friendly hotel in the heart of Venice, not far from The Rialto Bridge and San Marco. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable with large bathrooms. The breakfast is tasty with a lot of healthy choices. The hotel is very easy to reach by the vaporetto, go to The Rialto Bridge and walk just a few blocks.

Room Tip: Avoid the top-floor, which is difficult to reach without lift.

Not the friendliest hotel i have stayed in & some areas are a lttle shabby, our 'triple superior'... room was extremely small & hot. We only paid £100 for 3 nights B&B so for Venetian standards it was value for money. Brilliant location though.

Room Tip: Wont recommend ours (Triple Superior)...but our friends stayed in Quad Superior, it was fabulously d...

Venice is expensive .... ! So this hotel is quite reasonable and the location is really great. It is a very walkable distance (with suitcase) from the Rialto Bridge and/or the ALILAGUNA LINES water taxi stop to and from the airport (the stop near the gardens next to St Mark's square).
Friendly service and lovely old style room with a decent sized lift (for Italy).
Smack in the middle of the island and 5 minutes from St Mark's square in one direction and the same to the Rialto bridge. Will stay there again.

We found the hotel very expensive for what we got, the room was in very bad condition, a bit dirty, and the shower was awful. Some friends stayed in other hotels nearby for the same price and with much higher quality. The only good thing about this hotel is the location, nothing else, if you can avoid it.

The hotel has pretty much the perfect location between Rialto Bridge and St. Marc's Square. There are lots of restaurants, eateries and gelaterias in the immediate vicinity.

The room was good, but smelled a little funky upon entering. It was not a big problem though - there are windows for that. Room was clean and had a comfy bed. There was a distinct lack of sockets though. Or maybe I was too stupid to find them. I ended up charging my mobile in the bathroom.

Bathroom was good, in full working condition and clean.

Great wifi connection (wifi router was next my door).
Breakfast was ok. A fair selection of food: sweet, savory, cereals, fruit, juices, coffees and teas.

Staff was very nice and very helpful.
