We decided to treat ourselves so I set about finding somewere suitable which could push the boat out. We had a "superior" room at the front of the building with mini-balconies. It wasn't cheap but for all that was great, really comfortable with fab views, a complimentary bottle of prosecco, an invitation for early evening drinks and with good facilities, comfortable bed and a good sized room. It ticked all the boxes.
Breakfast was very tasty, we thoroughly enjoyed it over four days.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, though one of the front desk staff was less helpful, didn't get a name, but he did stand out for that.
It was also lovely to have the trip to Murano on the hotel motor launch, booked at the time that suited us so quite luxurious and we managed to resist buying a chandelier despite the subsequent hard sell in the glass factory.More
