Only one word can describe this hotel - Wow
Warm welcome when you arrive and a very attentive staff with the great location makes this a first class hotel. This hotel is a little expensive but the nice balcony and great breakfast is worth the price of admission. We enjoyed breakfast every morning watching the canal traffic and supply boats delivering to the local restaurants and bars early every morning. We enjoyed relaxing and playing cards in the rain on the balcony while watching the canal traffic go by. We also enjoyed the local bar - Bacaro Jazz which makes a stiff drink and has assorted customer’s bras hanging from the ceiling. Head the other way and you will shortly run into Flaschetteria Toscana Restaurant for a great local meal – it is an Historical Restaurant
For a real adventure head out and find the Osteria La Zucca Con Cucina - it is a great little restaurant that is worth seeking out and enjoying a meal. We go there every time we are in Venice - it is a small place so reservations are always needed but well worth it (try the blue cheese pasta – to die for).
Venice always captures your heart and leaves lots of memories.More
