We spent two nights at Santa Marina Hotel. The location is really central (once you find it!) and the breakfast spread is brilliant and quintessentially Italian. The staff were friendly and helpful with directions. The rooms are decorated boutique-style in Rococo and have all the essentials but are tiny! And there are many stairs and confusing corridors you need to take to get to your room which is difficult when you have bags with you. We spent one night in the annex and another in the main building with canal views. It gets really noisy early in the mornings but it adds to the character of waking up in Venice and didn't bother us. Otherwise a very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again.

Room tip: Main building, Canal view for an authentic Venetian experience

This is one seriously beautiful hotel. The rooms are a good size and some very large rooms available. Nice breakfast also. The location isn't bad, close to water taxi stop. The staff is friendly, understood english and were quite helpful.

We stayed here for 3 nights in august. We found the hotel an easy reach from rialto water taxi stop.. would be a good idea to look up your route before as we did get lost! Originally booked ca'marinella but had been moved to this main hotel. Lovely spacious room, good standard breakfast and within easy reach of all main attractions. Would definitely return!

When we arrived our room wasn't ready as yet, so we left our bags at the front desk and went out for the afternoon exploring Venice. On our return we were pleasantly surprised by being upgraded to a bigger room in the hotel (room 412), really spacious and a big bathroom, on the ground floor and next to the dining area. Our stay was very comfortable and the staff very friendly.

Room tip: We had ground floor room which was easy accessible, big and spacious and in the main hotel. The hotel is air-conditioned and has a lift.

A very nice hotel in the centre of Venice. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English. Our room was clean and modern with a recently renovated modern bathroom.
Breakfast was good and had a good variety.
The hotel is a short walk to the Rialto water bus stop but is a little difficult to find the first time. I maps on your phone or Ipad will get you there with ease, local street maps as good as useless.
There are plenty of eating spots within 10 minutes walk of the hotel.
