Good value for money. Exceptional location While our room was small it had everything we needed.and was very clean Breakfast room was exceptionally small. However we always got a table when we arrived and if you wanted breakfast could be,brought to your room at no extra cost breakfast was usual fair and adequate. Pity TV in room didn't have an English speaking channel however wasn't a big problem. Internet worked very well and was free Would stay again

Room Tip: Ask for room in main hotel and if possible with a terrace over looking the street. We didn't have one

If you want to stay in the centre of Venice I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. Don't expect a lot of room but it is very clean and everything you need is there. Staff very friendly and gave us great recommendations for eating out. Well worth a visit.

We spent four days in Venice at the Hotel Torino and we loved it. The rooms are lovey with an old world feel. We we lucky enough to get a room with a balcony over looking the street. If you in to high end shopping this is hotel for you! Just beyond shops such as Gucci, Channel, and Ferragamo, is San Marcos Square. The staff were always very helpful, one of them even took the time to introduce us to a wonderful gondolier. (One note of warning do wear insect repellent if you don't wish to be littered with mosquito bites!) Francesca runs the hotel very efficiently, yet maintains a very homey and cozy atmosphere. We stayed in the middle of July and the A/C adequately cooled our rooms. The hotel Torino is a great value for the modest price. I highly recommend this lovely boutique style hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony.

We spent ten days in Italy in four different towns. This was our first experience in this country so our review is based solely on this trip.

In general, this hotel was in a nice quiet location that was conveniently located. We did have a little trouble finding the hotel (mostly due to its lack of sign) so do recommend finding a detailed map beforehand.

The room was smaller than what you would typically experience in the U.S., but was comparable to others we stayed in Italy. The staff was not as hospitable as those we had experienced elsewhere; would answer questions when asked, but not particularly eager to assist.

The hotel also does not provide an iron, but this was also a problem we experienced elsewhere in Italy.

The breakfast was good and did have a nice variety. The organization of the breakfast room was particularly challenging, though. Highly recommend eating during a time that the room is less populated (e.g., early or late).

Overall, we enjoyed this hotel, but there were a few disappointments here and there.

Decent hotel... In a great location! Just a few minutes to San Marco square and just next to the grand canal. Perfect run along the river area. The lady at the reception is super friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel for a short 2-3days trip.
