“Excellent!”

Location is perfect. Facilities excellent, and the in-house restaurant one of the very best in Venice. The staff are service-minded with great attention to detail, flexible and friendly with that rare balance that makes an experienced traveler warm at heart without becoming overbearing. It is also very reasonably priced (by Venice standards)

Highly recommended. This is the place to stay in Venice.

Room Tip: I only stayed in one room so far, but a guess is that canal side.side rooms may be quieter than the...

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in March. This was our third visit to Venice and our third time staying at the Saturnia. This is a lovely hotel in a great location staffed by very helpful and professional people! The room we had this stay overlooked the canal in the back. We felt like we were getting to sleep in a museum! The bed was quite comfortable, the bathroom was huge. We had a separate bath and a shower with a rain shower fixture. The breakfast selection is great as is the coffee. Andrea is simply the best! We explored parts of Venice we haven't seen before - following Andrea's recommendations.

Room Tip: Room 205 is truly special!

My girlfriend and I just got back from a 4 night stay and I'm pleased to give this hotel the thumbs up. We had a very sunny room on the 3rd floor of this elegant gem located close to St Marks Square and not far from the bridge that takes you over to the Dorsoduro. The breakfast provided was good and consisted of an array of hot and cold foods, along with some very good coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would be happy to stay here again!

My husband and I were accommodated, at very short notice, at this hotel. This was our seventh visit to Venice so have experience of hotels there. The welcome we received was very friendly and the staff were very helpful. We were shown to our room on the first floor and it was fabulous. Very spacious and overlooking a small canal. Everything was spotless. The bathroom was large with double wash basin, large corner bath, wc, bidet and separate shower cubicle. The hotel is very well located for access to St Mark's Square and the Vaporetto stop. We booked a taxi to the airport and our luggage was stored at the hotel until required when it was taken for us by a member of staff to the landing stage of the hotel - so no long walk to the taxi! Although we hadn't originally chosen to stay at this hotel we would recommend it and will certainly book our next visit to Venice at it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the first floor. We stayed in 206.

Very nice rooms. Only heat in the winter time, then once it gets warm they run cold water through the AC system. Bathroom was very clean and the shower was beautiful. The beds were okay. View from the balcony was gorgeous. Breakfast was probably the best and most "international" that we had on our trip to Italy. All kinds of breads and meats for breakfast as well as delicious scrambled eggs. The servers at breakfast were very kind and attentive. Hotel staff were very nice as well.

Highly recommend getting a map from the staff at the front desk that highlights the hotel location. It's very easy to get turned around in parts of venice.

Also recommend to take the private boat to the back door of the hotel. Well worth the 140 euros that we paid to arrive and depart. LIterally, you enter the back door of the hotel directly from the canal. Very unique experience indeed.

Room Tip: Higher floors give you a unique view around the hotel.

My wife, young daughter, and I stayed at Saturnia for 3 nights in March. The hotel was located near San Marco (5 minute walk), near the S. M. Giglio water bus stop (< 5 minutes), and near lots of restaurants and shops.

The staff was genuinely helpful and ready with restaurant recommendations and logistical support.

The room was clean and comfortable but very 1920s. The style is lost on me but may be appreciated by others.

The breakfast was vast and very good quality.

We stayed here in February '14 for 3 nights and can not fault this hotel in anyway...location is fantastic, and very easy to find from San Marco water bus stop. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices of hot and cold food, everything was tasty and very fresh. We had room 101 which was above our expectations - massive room with big comfy bed and a single bed for our 6 year old. Everywhere was very clean. Would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend.
