“Nice Hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2014

Spent 4 days in Venice from the 12/7/14 to the 15/7/14 and stayed here, the hotel was in a out of the way location but didn't feel that out the way, such a nice location. The hotel its self goes with the description me and my boyfriend had read about it, so Venetian, so classic. Walking out of the hotel was a beautiful view, the room was fantastic, spacious with amazing facilities, the staff were quiet but when needed they were very very helpful! Not had much of the breakfast as we seemed to sleep through it, but i had the chance to have a taste but wasn't all that, could tell we miss our full English! I really would recommend the hotel for a short break like I did, could visit Venice again in the future but may try a new location for a Hotel but highly recommend :)

Hotel not bad location . Staff unfriendly. Breakfast rubbish! Nice room. Clean. Took pre booked taxi from airport took 15mins . And arrived outside hotel. Takes about 10 min walk to shops. We paid £25 for 2 day pass to jump on off water boat as lots walking was done first day . Good value and it takes you to all small island like Murano and Burano .

We stayed for 1 night before a cruise and one night when we came back. There was four of us myself my husband and two teenage children. We had paid for a quad room and got a beautiful spacious room in the new building for our first night where there is a lift. I couldnt complain about anything on the first night. When we came back for our second night we had a room in the older part of the Hotel it was more like a double room with two camp beds pushed into the room we hardly had any room to move around, it was a very dated room with shabby furniture and it was on the third floor so we had to carry our suit cases up 3 flights of stairs. The breakfast was ok not alot of it but was ok. There is a water taxi outside the Hotel which is very handy.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms in the new building.

This hotel is located at the mouth of the canal, so my view was excellent. It's also right next to the water bus, although most places are within walking distance. I loved this hotel for its views and complimentary breakfast; however I was a little disappointed with the size of my room, it was pretty cramped. Granted, I was a solo traveler, but it wasn't what I was used to. Otherwise, I highly recommend for the price!

My husband and I checked in on June 14 and checked out the next day as part of our honeymoon.
Kindly note that there is no elevator and you need to carry the bags. You can check in at 2:00 pm and not before, but can leave your bags there to go for walk. The rooms are clean and the staff are ok and responsive. Please note that the breakfast is not rich and consists of cereals, one type of bread and one type of croissant. From what I heard, it is a convenient hotel since the others are more expensive and plus location is very good I agree to this point, as you can go there by walking from the station, but need taxi boat to go to the airport. Our private boat taxi parked just in front of the hotel. Thank you!

My wife and I arrived around mid-night at this hotel, so you can imagine that all we wanted was to dump and slump...well we didn't actually sleep until 2am and that was in another hotel as well!

We booked a standard and got what can only be described as a cheap loft conversion on the very top floor. There was no lift so we had to climb 4 flights of stairs to get there and when we got there I couldn't even stand up in the room, fit in the shower or even use the sink without crouching.

The receptionist was unphased by all this and explained that there were no other rooms available. After we booked into another hotel and me demanding to meet with the manager tomorrow, he suddenly had a room available. The next day they gave us the suite, which was okay, but lacked basic cleanliness as with the other rooms we were shown.

Anyway cut a long story short. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
* Great location, walking distance from train staion and bus stop right outside, you can even go straight to the main airport via water shuttle (NOT TREVISO AIRPORT).
Cons:
* No lift
* Basic breakfast (cerial and dry crossants)
* Dirty
* Staff attitude (cleaner was lovely though)

Room Tip: If you are going to stay here, request specifically NOT to be booked into any of the top floor rooms...

Got here late on a Feb evening to be greeted by an older gentleman on reception who was friendly (ish). our holiday company had not confirmed our attendance with the hotel and he was most helpful in getting this resolved, letting us call of the reception phone and getting us sorted.

We also requested to be put in the new part of the hotel (having read in the reviews that it was much nicer) and we definitely got a good deal. the gentleman gave us a room on the top floor having read our request which had 3 separate sections like a living room, dressing room and bedroom. it was lovely and modern with a mini-fridge.

Boat stop right outside and in a quieter part of Venice, however you can walk everywhere so its distance from the main attractions wasn't an issue. Also a very expensive looking hotel next door which does amazing cocktails if wanting something a bit nice close by.

Hotel breakfast is typical continental, nothing to shout about but all in all, a very nice stay here at the Tri Archi. Lively street with lots of little bars to sample.

Word of caution, the street the hotel is on doesn't have the boards which get put up when high tides so literally had to swim back when the streets flooded. don't be fooled by the price the vendors ask for the cover-up welly-like feet things-useless and a rip off. go prepared and bring them with you.

Room Tip: Request a room in the newer, renovated part of the hotel
