We had a wonderful day in Venice with Igor. He was so patient and responsive with emails and advice even before we arrived. He met my group of ten at the car park and guided us into and throughout the city. I have been to Venice twice before and didn't really love it, but we decided to try it again because the kids (ages 7, 10 and 12) had never been. I credit Igor with turning around my view on the city. He plainly loves it and knows it inside-and-out. He added color to the experience every step of the way. He was incredibly patient with our slow-moving group, and building in rest and food stops as needed. We saw major sites and off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods and got a really great feel for the city. Wish we had had even more time to spend with Igor in his beautiful home town. Highly recommend arranging a day with him in Venice.

Igor was very prompt in answering e-mails and arranging for a van and water taxi to our hotel in addition to a private tour for later in the week. I was nervous not having a booking number in case something went wrong, but or driver was waiting for us as we exited the airport and took us directly to our private boat. Our tour guide, Davide, was excellent (not letting on that he was under the weather), and we learned a lot of interesting information about Doge's Palace, Venice, and Italian history. Tour Leader Venice is very professional and dedicated to customer satisfaction; they've earned all the good reviews they've received.

We visited Venice in December 2012 when it was COLD, COLD and unpopulated. Igor met us at our hotel and took us on a fantastic journey through the streets of Venice. We requested a stop to see blown glass, and he took us to our own private demonstration! We had history lessons all along the way, saw the fish market and some interesting food for sale, a really neat book store, Marco polo's house, all the major sites, and got great tips on other things to see while on our trip. His enthusiasm for his city never faltered despite the chill, and we look back fondly on this tour as the highlight of our trip to Venice. We would definitely do it again!

Our family of 7 including 2 children aged 10 and 8 were all very happy with our tour and guide Andreas/Andrew. Andrew showed us unique places and architectural features that we would not have seen on our own. We saw famous parts of the city from angles not usually found by tourists Andrew also gave us an insight to the history and life of the people of Venice,in a manner that was interesting without overwhelming us with information. He was friendly, open and thoughtful with all members of our family, pacing the tour to suit all. We enjoyed a refreshing stop at one of his favourite coffee shops. His explanation and descriptions of the art and story of St Mark's gave us a clear understanding of what we were seeing and we were easily able to negotiate the crowds for a very special viewing. He also assisted us to take the easiest transport options when leaving Venice. Grazie tante Andrew and also Igor for arranging our tour so smoothly.

Our recent cruise ended in Venice and three days prior to arriving in port we learned the ship's airport shuttle service would not get us to the airport in time. I found Tour Leader Venice on Trip Advisor and contacted them by email. Igor Scompanin responded immediatly to my email and said they could transport us to the airport. Over the next several days I emailed additional information to Igor and every time he responded very quickly. His promptness in responding to each of our emails says volumes about his committment to his customers. Our ship spent the night in port so we requested a 6:30 a.m. pick up. Igor assured us the car would be waiting for us. We were a little anxious as it seemed too easy to set this up on short notice with so many other ships in port. At exactly 6:30 a nice Mercedes van pulls up and the driver gets out with our name on a board. You can't imagine the relief we felt. The cost was very reasonable and was a fraction of the cost quoted by our ship for a private transfer. Thanks Igor for helping us on such short notice.
