For a first time visit to Venice you couldn't find a better location. The Hotel is just opposite one of the main boat stops making it very easy to find when you are tired from a long flight. It is really close to St Marks Square, the absolute centre of town. We stayed on the fourth floor which had magnificent views day and night. There were a lot of steps and no lift making it unsuitable for any one with mobility issues but for those fit enough it's worth it. Our room accommodated a family of four and was compact but tastefully furnished. The double glazed windows blocked the noise when you didn't want it but you could open up the windows for fresh air and to soak up the sunshine and atmosphere when you wanted. European style breakfast with many choices and of good quality. Great Wi-Fi and friendly and accommodating staff.
We would have no hesitations in staying here again and highly recommending it to others.
