“nice place to stay”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

we didnt have any booking prior to coming to Venice so we were lucky we found this place for a a good price - it was 60 EUR for two people. we had a nice clean room, the bathroom was outside of the room, but private only for us.
we thought we got a good deal, because the breakfast was included in the price, however the next day the breakfast wasnt what we expected. there was pretty much nothing to eat, we left hungry.
the staff was very nice - we met a lade and a man the next day - both were very helpful and kind.
would stay again, but would try to exclude the price of the breakfast from the rate and rather eat something outside.

Room Tip: we had room 306 which had the bathroom outside, but for the price it was ok. at night had mosquitoes...

Although very hard to find this place was fantastic. We had a room that was very spacious and had amazing views down the canal. It was tastefully decorated with lots of natural light. The breakfast was all very sweet which seems from our travels to be the usual thing in Europe. The location was good as it was an easy walk to the Rialto and San Marco square. The wifi was good although it dropped out a lot.

Room Tip: You must have room 8 ! I think this room has the best view of all the rooms. The canal views are ama...

The best thing of this hotel is the location, you can walk to any major sights in Venice.
The room was big and very clean, if you can get a room with private bathroom is worth the extra dollars. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.
Great option if you are visiting venice. :)

We stayed in the hotels annex which is only 50 metres away. The room was clean, quiet and had a 4 poster bed and large ensuite. Check your room has an air conditioner as mosquitoes are bad and you have to have windows closed at night. Great location, close to the Ca d'oro vaperetto stop. Breakfast was fairly standard for this level of hotel. All staff were friendly and helpful, and you can drop off luggage if you arrive early. Free wifi. Well priced hotel in a very expensive city.
Suggestion 1 - get a 48 of 72 hour vaperetto pass, the city is such a 'jungle' that you never know where you are going to end up and being able to get on/ off whenever is well worth it. Also because it starts from when you validate it, it really lasts 3/4 days.
suggestion 2 - don't order a drink at a cafe/bar before you see the menu, you might end up with a rude surprise such as a $12 bottle of coke or coffee.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were on the third floor and had our own bathroom, which we certainly appreciated. It's close to a couple vaporetti stops which is very helpful. Might be tough to locate at first but there is a sign that tells you where it is once you get close. We would certainly consider staying here again if we find ourselves back in Venice.

Room Tip: Just make sure you're picking a room with a private bathroom if that's what you want. I mess...

This is my second stay here in five years. I think it is the best deal in Venice. Love the location - close to vaporetto stop and everything you need but away from most of the tourist crowd. We had a quad room and it was small but adequate.

This was a great location for our night in Venice, although the bathroom is shared. We did not find this to be a problem, though, even in the height of tourist season I never encountered another person trying to shower or use the restroom at the same time. The hotel is a bit hard to find, but the sign in the square nearby was a great help. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk asked to keep our room key when we were away and alerted us that they would prefer us to be back to the hotel by 1 am, otherwise they had to set up accommodations for us to get in. This was fine for us, but may not be ideal for others who do not want to be told what time to get home. We kept our key "by accident" when we went out because we were not comfortable leaving all of our stuff in the room with free access to hotel personnel. There is a local bar across the sidewalk from our room, so if noise is a problem, I would request a room that does not face this bar.
