A beautifully quaint hotel, very central. Staff were friendly and spoke English. The real treat was being able to have a substantial breakfast deliveried to our room, with no extra cost. Room was beautifully decorated and olde worldy. I would recommend in low season as prices are a bit steep in the Summer.

A jewel of a hotel only a stone's throw from the city centre. The 4 days visit was relaxing, the room was clean and quiet and the personel were extremely forthcoming especially our cheerful breakfast waiter who always had a cheerful comment .
The mini garden provides an oasis for digesting the sight od the day.
The price is somewhat at the high end but it was worth it.

Fabulous weekend which had been long awaited and the Hotel Flora was a great choice which helped make the weekend live up to high expectations of Venice. Great location with everything you could want on the doorstep.
Great Room that was quiet and overlooked the garden at the side and back. Friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Good breakfasts to set us up for all the walking required when in Venice. it was lovely to stay in an old traditional environment with all comfort provided for.
Would highly recommend.

A small hotel hidden away amongst the designer shops close to San Marco, within sight of the San Moise Bridge. The inclusive continental breakfast was generous, with a cooked option offered if preferred either served in the garden, lounge or your room.
The hotel bar and lovely garden were a perfect base to return to during the day or evening. The staff wthere incredible and could not have been anymore helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean.....what a gem !!!!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Flora after reading reviews on this web-site as well as a recommendation from Rick Steve's. We got a great rate because it's off season - 125 Euro/night. I mistakenly booked at "triple" room thinking that it would be bigger but it was in fact a room for 3 people - oh well. Anyway, it worked to my favor because we ended up getting 2 rooms - one with 1 bed and another with a twin bed so it was kind of like we had our own "wing" of the hotel - rooms 41 and 42. The bed was fabulous and we both slept great. The desk agent on the morning shift was the sweetest man ever (his evening colleague not so much). Details: shower is small but amazing water pressure, everything else is pretty standard. Remember, they don't use top sheets in Europe (they're the best sheets in the world!) - just down comforters - no big deal just thought I'd mention it. The location of the hotel is not too far from the San Marco vaporetto stop. As a side note, wear flat shoes as it's easier to navigate on the cobbled streets and up and down the little bridges over the canal. The breakfast, included in our stay, was really yummy - you can select what you want and have it delivered to your room (they phone you about 5 mintues before they come up) or you can eat downstairs in their little cafe. I had coissants and yogurt each morning. I brought my own assortment of tea bags from home which made it special. Enjoy your stay!
