This hotel was very quaint and the staff were very friendly.
The hotel was very easy to find as well. We did have to walk up three flights of stairs to get to our room, but that gave it part of its charm.
Thank goodness it was the beginning of our trip, so we weren't too tired yet.
Breakfast had a lot of options as well.
This hotel is on the part called Dorsoduro and everything we wanted to do was on San Marco.
The only way to get across was to take the vaparetto or walk down to the bridge and then walk back over to San Marco. The first night we decided to walk the bridge and this gave us the opportunity to explore the city.
There were traghetto stops, but we found that the traghettos were not existent.
Also, make sure you ask how to use the air conditioner. I couldn't quite figure it out and our room was freezing the entire night.
If you aren't rushed for time, this hotel is a great place to stay.More
