We stayed in the Annex just around the corner. The Annex is remodeled and was very modern but also small. The room had double paned windows and shutters. It wasn't a problem that it was small though. We were happy that it had an elevator for our luggage. It had a view of a small piazza and church and loved listening to the church bells in the morning. They had breakfast downstairs in the Annex that was okay but nothing to write home about. The staff was nice and informative and the vaporetto station was in front of the hotel. It was nice not to have to lug heavy luggage very far.
