“Good hotel in a great location”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

This hotel is fantastically located near st. Mark's square and the major attractions in Venice. The room is comfortable and styled in the venetian style. The staff at this place were brilliant and very helpful.

This hotel is better than some of the reviews would lead you to believe. It is quiet, the breakfast is good and the room is a good size (perhaps people expect American sized rooms in Europe?).

If I return to Venice I will stay here again.

Good Hotel to stay whilst visiting Venice, wonderful location, small room but everything you need , also good Breakfast and very helpful Staff. Breakfast is served in the Hotel annex, but no problem only round the corner.
The Concierge was very helpful advising of Water-Bus times and prices, and they stop just in front of the Hotel on the Grand Canal.
Inside the Hotel it is cool and quiet and comfortable.

Room Tip: Pick room 209 ,quiet, cool with small balcony overlooking the Courtyard

Ask for a room with a front view! Awesome!

Breakfast was not good though. We expected more.

Apartment was cozy and very clean. Staffing was great as well.

It is just by the infamous hotel Danielli. So, you get the same view for half the price!!!

This hotel's location is excellent. Our room was located in the Annex. The Annex is located down a sweet little street and opens up onto a small square that is anchored by a beautiful church. I loved that we could easily access the sites and bustle of Venice but had a quiet oasis to return to.

The room was small but was well appointed and the bathroom was well appointed and spotlessly clean.

Breakfast was ok. Fruit selection was poor (large bowl of watermelon, a few kiwis and sad apples). At the height of summer I would expect an improved selection. Also, the coffee machine at this hotel was not very good. And it seems that the breakfast facility was shared with another hotel so this meant that it was always very busy.

We had extremely helpful desk staff, as we needed a laundromat, directions to the main train station and were escorted to the rooftop balcony. The staff made every effort to be helpful.

Room Tip: Choose a room in the Annex to enjoy a quiet oasis.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though not overly spacious. Staff was decent. But the location is perfect - can get to all the Venice highlights easily. Were not able to accommodate an extra bed for our son, so he ended up sleeping on the floor. But we knew this in advance and the stay was only for one night.

This is a nice little hotel right off of St. Mark's Square on the canal in Venice. The rooms are smallish, but they are comfortable with individual AC units in each room. The shower was large, with both an overhead and a hand-held shower nozzle. The front desk attendant made every attempt to assist our party, which included an individual with a service dog. The breakfast provided was also quite extensive. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed three nights in this hotel, in the beginning I thought the rooms were a little bit small but after all I was convinced because the beds were good and the breakfast was nice! The location is amazing. The only thing that wasn't good is that my grandmorther and I slept in a room next to the public toilet of the hotel. We heard a lot of noise due to the toilet and the people who worked there.
