+Location perfect, but a little bit difficult to find at the first time
+Staff is so great, friendly and helpful!
+Breakfast is very simple but perfect enough for hot summer mornings
+Near to supermarket, Ghetto and S. Marco
-Reseption is open only from 07-01 - not great if you'd like to see a night Venice
-Lots of stairs

It seems that this hotel got some pretty bad ratings, however our experience wasn't as terrible as others were. The rooms are a bit on the small side, however they were perfectly clean. The bathroom is not like a North-American bathroom, however you are in an old Venetian building, what do you expect for the star rating?? It was perfectly fine. We had a fan in our room, and we were there in July and it was really hot, however we slept really well at night, it was not too hot. You are close to everything, the water taxis, restaurants, the Rialto bridge. Amazing price for the location. Also the breakfast is included, and it was really good! Definitely a hotel to consider if you are on a budget and want to visit Venice!

Room Tip: A room with a view of the front courtyard is nicer

The location can not be beat. It is only 3 minutes from the Rialto Bridge and 7 minutes from Piazza San Marco. You have to walk 3 flights of stairs to the reception so not so comfortable for elderly travellers with heavy bags otherwise not a big deal. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was on the top in the attic with little terrace overlooking the Venetian roofs. The room was comfortable and spadeful enough with nice and clean bathroom with a hairdryer. The cleaning service was daily. The breakfast was great start of the day with croissant, rolls, coffee/chocolate/tea, jams and butter. We can not complain at all, we were more than satisfied.

Room Tip: We were in 12B with A/C and terrace.

This hotel is minutes away from Rialto Bridge and 5-7 mins from St Marks square. Room was freshly decorated and crisp clean sheets. Breakfast consists of fresh croissants, freshly baked rolls, toast, jams, pates and cheese with tea, coffee and fruit juice. Staff are available on reception 7am to 2am daily so check in and out is almost 24 hours. We were advised that there was no need for us to be rushed out of our room. For £25 per person per night it met our needs in full. Only negative point is the three flights if stairs accessing the rooms, but the owner offered to carry our cases. We will be back.

This was a hotel I would not consider again on a trip to Venice. First of all, the place is outdated and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. The shampoo and soap provided are inadequate size, you are better off buying your own. If one was to put two of the pillows together it would not equal one adequately sized pillow. The wifi is not free, and the staff didn't even understand how it worked. You're better off finding a nicer place. Not worth two stars.

Canada Hotel has a great location near the Rialto bridge, only a 2 minute walk. The rooms are clean and the staff in the hotel was very nice. The breakfast is simple, however everything is arranged very well.

The hotel is close to piazza San marco, Abd NEAT the vaporetto station Rialto. It is simples, kind of hot , but the room is good, for the price. The staff is really nice. Enjoy eating some "grappas" outsider the hotel.
