“It's a trap!”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

Although the hotel is very close to St Marcus Square, don't fall for it! The pictures don't tell the reality.

I stayed in a romm so small, with broken heating system, bad small and to finish, it was on the 3rd floor of an old house WITHOUT elevators!

The breakfast room was the small reception, and I had to wait until someone finished eating so I could have mine.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights 18th to 19th August 2014. Our room was small but clean. Although they had a note stating that towels are changed every 3 days, ours were changed daily. Breakfast was basic, with lovely cakes, and very nice cappuccino. Close to San Marc's Square!

Room Tip: We had room No1, on first floor, with our own bathroom.

I will not recommend this hotel, staff very unfriendly, steep stairs with no help and no elevator - photo attached.... rooms outdated, pillow as flat as a pancake, bathroom minute with no room to move.....,,,,,, room looking into another plastered wall... not a pleasant experience thus far, I'll have to still test breakfast, i arrived from SA at 01:41 to this unpleasant experience, i suggest that flight centre test the establishments before selling the packages - room 12

Stayed here for 6 days! The staff where so polite and nice, they where also very helpful. The hotel is only small but that is what you would expect. Its on a really good strip with resturants and shops. A one annoyance was the take away shop opposite our room which stayed open till 7:00am so they made abit of noise but nothing that put me off sleeping. Our room was small (not all rooms are small, they had some fairly large ones which we got to peak in the door was open haha) but it was all rather cosey and clean. Very easy to find the place after water taxi dropped us off, its just down one ally into a little sqaure then down the next ally a lovely area thriving with atmosphere. Right behind st marcos. Not much variety at breakfast and the breakfast area only has 5 or 6 tables we got up early to make sure we wouldn't have to wait.

We only had one pillow each so we used the extra quilt to put underneath to act as a 2nd pillow, the made put it back twice and decided to give us extra pillows which I thought was nice since they realised what we where doing. The staff also got us tickets for the tour boat

I would stay here again. beware they do have tourist tax.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front of the hotel can be noisy, at back may be quieter

Me and newlywed husband stayed here for 2 nights. I knew that the room would be small, but it still took my breath away at how small it was.
It was very beautiful though. The breakfast was very continental and plentiful. The location was a big thumbs up we loved it! Wish someone had told us about the town tax per night.

Room Tip: We had room 2, it was a little noisy - but didn't bother us.

Fortunately I only stayed in this hotel for 1 night and I had to share the bathroom with the staff who was suffering from diarrhea!!!! The smell was horrendous. I could not take a shower in that bathroom. Towels are changed each 3 days! Air conditioner did not work. Very noisy. I had to sleep with the lights on because I didn't know if there could be rats at night. Breakfast... I could not have it because the same sick staff said it was being served 15 minutes later of my check out, even though everything was already set.... Did not offered anything to go! Wifi is not provided. You have to pay for it, at a ridiculous price. The only good point is the location. Very close to the Piazza San Marco, but please stay away!!!! Bad service, bad attitude... You will not have a good time.

Room Tip: Stay away!!!
