Just spent two enjoyable nights at the Arcadia. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was small but this is Venice! The room was clean with all the necessary amenities and most important the air conditioning worked great. It was fairly quiet and located in a less touristy part of the city. The breakfast room is beautiful and the breakfast abundant. Would definitely stay again.

We came to Italy for the first time to celebrate our twentieth anniversary. Our first stop was the enchanting city of Venice. We picked the Arcadia hotel based on location. Proximity to the Jewish ghetto was important to us. When we got there, we found so much more! When we arrived four hours early, Luigi was ready and waiting to greet us like we were royalty. Always with a ready smile, he darted to the nearest kosher bakery and prepared a full "welcome basket" with a note congratulating us on our anniversary and flower petals spread in the shape of a heart on our bed.
The hotel was super clean. The decor was beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful, and every member of the staff was extremely cheerful and helpful. We felt like there was no request that would not be fulfilled :)
This is the best hotel we have ever been at! By the end of our stay, we decided that the location was not only convenient for the ghetto, but really ideal in Venice altogether. It is just the right mix of centrally located while still feeling private and calm.
A million stars!
Thanks everyone, we look forward to visiting you again soon!

This hotel is a hidden gem in Venice. The owner, Luigi, and the staff that we interacted with, Ilaria, Nicolai, Eduardo, and Suzie, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. My wife and I are busy attorneys and decided on Italy for our long overdue honeymoon. We traveled to Venice from Hawaii, and as we would say in Hawaii, there was a lot of aloha at the Hotel Arcadia. The room was immpecably clean and tastefully modern. The breakfast buffet that was included had a large selection, and excellent espresso. The location is excellent as it is away from the large crowds of tourists in San Marco. We would stay here again and give the Arcadia our highest recommendation. The staff deserves a perfect 10.

We stayed for three nights in May. The hotel was clean and comfortable although the room was a little noisy in the morning with noise from the breakfast area - an issue I suspect all the rooms have due to the layout. It wasn't a big deal but a daily niggle.

Other reviews are comprehensive so I'll just add:

- directions: out of the station (or past the station from Plz del Roma), and turn left. Follow the crowds and the Main Street, the hotel is about 5 mins walk, just after the first bridge that you cross. It's on the left and has an unassuming entrance

- nearby: Don't just see central Venice. From around the corner from the hotel are the vaporetto to Murano and Burrano which make a nice day out. It's pretty straightforward and reception can give you boat numbers. The ticket seller at the boat stop speaks English.

Enjoy your trip!

Nice boutique hotel. Literally a 2 minute walk away from the San Marcuola Vaporetto Stop. 20 min leisurely stroll to the Rialto Bridge. Lots of nice bars, restaurants, patisseries within a 5-10 minute walk. Great location. Amazing breakfast room with a very very nice breakfast which will easily set you up for a morning of site seeing. And there are lots of sites to see.

What a wonderful surprise when we checked into the Hotel Arcadia, our first impression was the staff who greeted us and they could not have been more helpful in making dinner reservations, water taxi reservations to the airport and all around insight and directions. We were very pleasantly surprised at the beautiful rooms, very nicely decorated, large bathrooms with a great shower. Very comfortable and clean. Fast internet and very nice breakfast in a beautiful room. Location is great, easy walking to many sights that one would like to see when in Venice. Would absolutely recommend!!
