My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the hotel rooms. I agree with the other reviews that the wifi connection was not good and the church bells will wake you up early- they are very loud. Our AC also broke after the first night so our room became quite warm. We liked this hotel for it's location to the train station (very short walk) and for the price. The rooms were clean (which is one of the only things that matters to me... I'm not very picky other wise) and the shower was really good. The hotel will give you a 50% off coupon for the cafe next door for breakfast which we really liked- their chocolate croissants were amazing. The hotel is about a 25 min walk to St. Mark's square- but a pleasant walk but we also took the water ferry which only took about 10 min.

We stayed one night in San Geremia rooms in july. We had booked beds in a dorm, but had a very pleasant surprise as we got our own room with the same price. The room was small but clean and good, nothing to complain about. Beds ok, a closet to hung clothes, enough sockets for all electronic devices, windows to get fresh air...Only bad thing was that air conditioning wasn't working, could have caused more trouble if we had stayed for a longer time. Also, the bells of the church will most likely wake you up very early in the morning.

The showers were very clean and smooth, nothing to complain about them. The location may not be the best one, but it is cheap compared to most of the city. An half-hour walk to Piazza San Marco is not too bad. Near to the train station, which helped us a lot, as we were traveling with train.

Room Tip: Anything to get away from those church bells, if possible.

My friend and I have stayed in the hotel for three nights in a double room. The stay was very unpleasant. The WiFi connection was very poor and it disconnected every 5 minutes. The shower head was malfunctioned and the water temperature was very unstable, resulting in much inconvenience. Since the room wasn't air-conditioned, we have to open the windows to ensure good ventilation. However, it was very noisy because of the birds and the bell sounds. We could barely sleep at night! The only merit of the hotel is that it's clean and tidy.

We stayed two nights the San Geremia Hotel in a double room with en suite bathroom. It was very clean, the staff friendly and breakfast was 50% off next door.
The bathroom was small, but great and the room simple and everything you need for a city trip. Close to Canarreggio district with the most amazing food in Venice and close to the train station. Easy access from the airport.
The only thing missing was maybe a fridge in the reception area.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here!

Room Tip: definitely worth getting a room with en-suite bathroom.

This hotel is so convenient and affordable if you want to stay in Venice. And stay you should. Hotel or hostel stays are available. I choose always the hotel. Rooms are simple and very very clean. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Convenient to the train station you can easily hop trains for day trips to Padova, Verona, Vicenza to mention a few. But my favorite part is the Cannereggio neighborhood. Do wander into the old Jewish Ghetto. Find the holes in the walls where the gates would close in the Jews for some 300 years. Then sit by a quiet canal for dinner and pay attention to the beauty of where you are. Hotel Geremia is so well situated and comfortable. And best of all affordable. If you can get a room over looking the piazza you will be so happy. Ask for one.

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the piazza.

My second stay in San Geremia rooms and it is definitely worth the price. Located only about 5 minutes walk from the train station, the location is great and there is water bus stops just a few minutes away.

The double room was small with a clean shower but the room was a tad stuffy when we arrived; probably due to poor ventilation. The air conditioning was not functioning during our stay probably because it was centrally turned off.

The staff were friendly and helpful and there is free baggage storage after checking out. They also have a collaboration with a cafe next door and breakfast is half priced for guest of the hotel.
