We stayed here for 2 nights in a lovely sunny weekend in March.
Friendly staff greeted us and kept on greeting at the welcome desk. We had a superior room with a lovely view on the canals and bridges next to the hotel. Enjoyable bed. The hotel location was perfect for our short stay in Venice, we got in everything we wanted without losing time due to the hotel.
Breakfast was good, only the orange juice was too chemical for our taste.

Would highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Room 220 is highly recommendable.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in March. Hotel is immaculately clean and in a very central location. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very wide choice of food at breakfast which is served until 10.45. Hotel bar and staff excellent.
Room sizes can vary so we chose a deluxe (243)and weren't disappointed. Spacious, well decorated room overlooking small canal with a steady flow of gondolas providing picturesque views.
More than happy to return in future.

I chose this hotel due to its perfect location and good price. Its so easy to find anywhere on the map from here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room I requested is just a single standard but I was suprised I got a double bed! Lovely room, clean on suite and windows that open to a nice view. The breakfast is included and has a really nice selection of hot and cold meals. They do a fantastic scrambled eggs! I will definitely be back and I will bring my friends next time. I highly recommend this place

Whether traveling a day early or staying late, this hotel is within walking distance of the cruise ship port. You must take the people mover (monorail) from the port to the location of the hotel. There are steps to master to get to the hotel as it is on the other side of the canal, but manageable. Hotel was clean, great value for the $100 US for the night. Rate included breakfast and internet. Hotel has garden in back for enjoyment or dining. Small cafe next to on corner great quick meals or drinks. Restaurants close by. Staff was attentive eventhough...checking in or out on cruise days will have traffic.

This hotel is just about 50 metres from the Grand Canal, boat stop just at the end of the little alleyway (Santa Maria del Giglio is the stop you want). The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in February. There is a very good bar adjoining the hotel where you get get super cocktails!. Although the website says there are tea/coffee making facilties in the room, there aren't. You can ask for a tray and it appears almost immediately except for one evening when a large party had arrived and 'all the trays were out'. So take your own stuff if you really want something before breakfast. There are mosquito wipes in the room but in the spring and summer probably a good idea to take your own preventatives - I used a camping one with batteries - much better than an electrical one as there was only one charger outlet in the bedroom, with another in the bathroom. There is a pleasant lounge area with wifi and a computer and a little computer cubbyhole with a printer so you can print your return boarding passes. You have to pay for wifi in your room but not downstairs. Decor is a bit old fashioned but all was very clean. My room (421) was larger than the one next door (422) and overlooked a canal. There was a balcony you could sit on which would be pleasant in the summer and you got the added bonus (?) of the gondoliers singing.
If you come by air, make sure you get the orange line (Alilaguna Arancio) to the hotel and not the Blue one. We just missed the orange boat and the boat men told us to get the blue line, but the last stop is at San Marco and is a good 10 minute walk over little bridges etc and navigating the crowds, which could be a problem in the tourist season later in the year. We caught the orange line back, just at the end of the alleyway, much quicker journey and you go up the Grand Canal rather than Murano and the long way round by the Lido. All in all a good hotel in a very convenient location.

Room Tip: I understand that some rooms only overlook a rather unattractive interior well, so would be very dar...

A real find...central to every thing my single room overlooked the canal and even had a double bed!!,comfortable and clean, coffee and tea tray ? just ask and it arrives with a smile, nothing
was too much for the staff, wi fi was free, but had to ask for a code each time it run out, a good bar o site as well, over all a brilliant place to stay and for carnival time (stayed there a week) fantastic
and close to water bus and St Marks Square. a place I would really recommend to anyone,
the only down side was few steps up to lift!

Room Tip: No advice ..just go with open mind and enjoy Venice a magical city

We had a wonderful stay here in a good sized room that was traditionally styled. Our room also had a small balcony overlooking a canal which was wonderful! We really enjoyed it but rooms do vary. (This was also the hotel featured in "An Idiot Abroad 3" and clearly the difference in rooms can be seen between Karl and Worick.) We found the reception staff ok. There is a great little bar attached to the hotel and the staff here were great. Location was perfect, Close to St Marks and also to a vaporetto stop just down the lane. It was expensive but that's expected in Venice. Would definitely stay here again.
