My wife and I stayed at the Santa Margherita Guesthouse for a long, romantic weekend. It is very well located away from the main tourist traps - really quiet and with good restaurants nearby. It is in a lovely old building with wooden beams that has been nicely done-up. Maria and her colleague Antoinella were very friendly and welcoming and had lots of good advice. We had a really lovely stay there and didn't want to leave. The breakfast could be a little better, but all in all, definitely five stars. We'll certainly come back.

What a lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable and in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. Close to restuarants, shops, and all that Venice has to offer. Breakfast was good and free WiFi. Cute little garden to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in and unwind after a busy day of sight seeing. I would definitly stay here again and have recommended it to family and friends.

It is very well situated in a beautiful and calm area of Dorsoduro... close to good restaurants, nice shops and cafés... away from mass tourism. We had a great stay in this lovely B&B and thank our charming host Maria!

It's very clean, safe and comfortable. Location is great! You can walk to the city attractions easily. Also if you don't want to walk, the vaporetto stop is very close. The area is very peaceful and lovely. Brekfast is ok and it's very nice to have free of charge coffee during the day! Free wi-fi was a nice surprise for me. Before and during your trip they help you with every detail. The host Maria is very smart and friendly. She sends you maps and directions if you ask before. I would definitely recommend you staying here. Thank you Santa Margherita Guesthouse :)

A really lovely guesthouse run by really friendly people. It was very clean with reasonable sized rooms to use as a base for exploring Venice. Good location for heading out and about with some nice restaurants in the vicinity. I would definitely stay again.

It was a lovely guesthouse, near the universities so there were local small art galleries besides some museums or exhibitions. The staff is always helpful and do their best to make you comfortable as in your own place.
