We spent 3 nights in Venice and decided to stayed in this hotel. We were not disappointed at all! The service was great since we arrived to the train station and we had someone with our names waiting for us ready to take us to our transportation (water taxi). We didn't have to make a line or wait, was great! concierge was excellent, helped us arrange private visits to the museums, Murano glass factory, dinner reservations, etc.
The room was probably one of the nicest of our entire 3 weeks in Italy! Beautiful decor, huge bathroom, nice balcony overlooking the grand canal!
Only bad thing is that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant but it's perfectly located within thousands of options all of them within walking distance!

Room Tip: view from the grand canal! Worth it!

We spent 4 nights at the Hotel. An excellent Hotel for the exploration of Venice - no restaurant and a very poor buffet breakfast - other than these two aspects, staying at the Hotel was a very pleasant experience.

The added benefit of the Hotel was that it had its own landing stage at the front of the Hotel, a great way to arrive by motor boat from Marco Polo Airport

Room Tip: Don't choose a room overlooking the Grand Canal, noisy and very warm

We spent 4 days at this hotel. I booked a deluxe room at the hotel's website, and when we arrived got a junior suite at the same price.

We celebrated our daughter's and my husband's birthday, so on the website I ordered a bithday cake, as a suprise. After our arrival somebody koncked the door and waited us the perfect surprise. Nice served ( damast linen with silver cutlery)) delicious venetian chocolate cake arrived with 2 gifts for us a fruit basket and a bottle of prosecco!By this way I thank it to the management, which made our stay really memorable.

Some additional pluses:
I booked a car park at San marco parkhouse with the help of the concierge, of course this worked well.

We visited Murano from the hotel offered free taxi, great excursion!

The hotel has a convenient location close to San't Angelo vaporetto station, so we parked our car at San marco parkhouse, walked to the vaporetto station and arrived to the hotel.

The hotel and surroundings are quiet and after 4.p.m. you can feel yourself a real venetian citizen, dont miss a walk to the San Marco, it is easy and watching the old town from the tower a memorable experience.

Morning, till 11.a.m. sitting in front of the hotel with a cappuccino and watching the venetian life, try it!

Will we go back? Of course and not only once.

Room Tip: Rooms or suites on the higher floors and/or looking to the Canal Grande

In my opinion this is the best hotel in Venice. The decor is spectacular, the rooms large, the location central, and the bar terrific. Stayed here several times over the past 2 years and it is always a pleasure to return.

We arrived by water taxi, we had a junior suite - no view, but we spent every day exploring Venice and the room was quiet and very comfortable. The staff are charming and helpful. The bar is splendid, overlooking the Canale Grande. Breakfast was a little meagre - no croissants, rather tough bread rolls and strange tasting fruit juice - hard to place! We did n't complain and would go again. Such a great central location. A charming hotel.

We had 3 nights in Venice at this hotel. One night in a canal review room and 2 nights in a junior suite. Both rooms were beautifullly decorated with good facilities and were also very quiet at night. As stated in previous reviews, the hotel is indeed very near a vaporetto stop so convenient for getting around with those heavy suitcases ! The location of the hotel is about
10 minutes walk from St Marks which is just ideal. Based on what we saw, you don't want to be staying right on St Marks square. The hotel reception staff were very helpful and organised dinner at the Palazzos sister hotel, the Centurian which included a complimentary water taxi both ways. The only minor criticism would be the quality of the breakfast provided. For us, it wasn't about the variety of food/drink on offer (which was certainly adequate enough) it was more the quality of the produce, which could have been better given the high quality of the rest of the hotel.

Room Tip: Unless you are desperate for a room with a canal view (and pay the corresponding price), the other r...
