“Intimate Hotel in Brilliant Loacation”

if you like lots of staff and ostentation this Hotel is not for you. But if you like a very personalized service with helpful more 'local' advice this is the place. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The staff are helpful and patient. Breakfast is simple but all that one needs before heading off to explore one of the World's magnificent destinations. The location is far more 'Local' than 'Tourist' but still an easy and interesting walk to virtually everything. We look forward to returning both to Venice and this Hotel.

Had a great holiday with Gianluca in Venice. Great info on how to reach hotel via email from Gianluca before departure. A very nice location away from busy touristy areas, but within walkin distance, great service, very quiet.

This small hotel is situated in a very quiet place, away from the main tourist buzz. The rooms are spacious, even with a third bed added. Service is friendly and attentive. Breakfast is relatively disappointing, as in many Italian hotels.
We have asked for a baby cot in each room when we made the reservation. In one room ther was a baby cot, in the other a normal single bed, which was not optimal fora child of two years.
Despite the fact that the reservation was made well in advance, one room had to be changed for the third night, as they needed it for another reservation. I have to admit that the new room was larger and nicer, and the whole transfer was done by the staff.
It is easy to get near the hotel with a private water taxi.
Overall a nice hotel in an ideal location. Prices are not low, as are most reasonable hotel in Venice.

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of April. We arrived late on the Monday night, but there was someone there to take our bags and check us in. The Hotel is ideally located, and about 20minutes walk from all of the major tourist attractions Venice has to offer. Very clean, reasonably sized rooms, although not a room you would want to spend too much time in (who spends time in their room in Venice anyway?). The staff there were really helpful and always had time for us. The only downside would be the breakfast. There was plenty to eat, however we felt that the selection was somewhat lacking, however this may be personal preference rather than a shortcoming of the hotel. There are many reasonably priced cafes etc in the local area anyway. We got engaged in Venice so will be making many trips here in the future, Locanda Sant'Agostin will be our first choice of hotel.

Hotel experience was nice. We got up late for breakfast but was still given time to eat. Elena was very accomodating and friendly. Very understanding. Bathroom was super clean. Room was big. Internet connection was fast. Hotel was clean. The night employee Rolando even lent us his own personal phone charger because my friend forgot hers. He was such a life saver! However, the internet info on getting to the hotel should have added info on walking from train station. When we left hotel back to the train station, we were given directions on walking which was very helpful. It only took us 15 minutes to get there. You will save 7 euros.

Should have a been a great location. But our room was over a bar/restaurant. No AC, so we had to open the windows for fresh air. But the eternal noise and cigarette smoke was brutal. Maybe a different room would have been quieter?

The desk staff was great. Helpful and knowledgeable.

Breakfast was pretty bad compared to our other stays in Rome and Florence.

I stayed here with a co-worker for a weekend to tour Venice after spending a week on business in Milan. We got a bit lost getting from the train station to the hotel in the dark, but once we found the hotel we were HAPPY! It was clean, the room was large, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was really nice and hot and powerful. The noise proofing in the hotel is excellent - we thought we were the only ones there until we found the breakfast area full in the morning. The breakfast was nothing special but good - croissants, yogurt, coffee, juice. The location was great. We were able to wander out to neighborhood squares both mornings and drink cappuccino with locals and then the walks to all of the different sites was pleasant. Only negatives were that the wifi didn't work very well (low signal) and that once checked out, the bathroom in the reception area was not really set up for guest use (storage closet). March is THE time of year to visit Venice - lovely weather and no lines! For food, I highly recommend pizza at OKE and anything at Impronpta Cafe and Restaurant - yum... I would stay at this hotel again.
