stayed at this hotel the beginning of September, lovely old hotel, we arrived early so room wasn't ready, but they took our luggage and ushered us into the cosy lounge were we had lovely coffee and cakes, our room was soon ready and we were taken to the top floor, room was big enough for us, with a lovely bathroom, well furnished and very comfortable. went for a lovely walk, you really do need a guide of some description when first venturing out, which was supplied by the hotel. We wanted to go Murano one day the hotel even organise a private water taxi for free and jump the queue into the glass factory, all we had to pay for was the water bus back, so much cheaper than if we had booked it in the UK, we had a lovely day. Breakfast as the hotel is very good, quite a lot of choice continental or eggs and bacon, fruit, most things that you would want, very good value at ten Euros. The only things that were a slight inconvenience was that there was no hair dryer, iron or tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but on asking they were sent up to the room no problems. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, always ready to help, would highly recommend this hotel.
