This is our 2nd time at this hotel and we would gladly return for a 3rd. Lovely staff and great breakfast. Excellent location - central but tucked away, so quiet at night. Lovely having a room overlooking the canal as you get serenaded at the gondolas float by.

Was disappointed with our room. It was very small and dad. Despite requesting a room with a view when we booked almost 12 months ago we had no view apart from a concrete wall.
This was a birthday celebration and although this was printed on our reservation the hotel staff did not acknowledge this, which was again a disappointment.
On a positive note it is a very good location.

From the moment we arrived by water taxi we knew we were somewhere special. A beautiful hotel with friendly staff who make you feel relaxed and excited about staying in this special city.

The room was surprisingly huge considering space is a premium in Venice and had ample supplies and a convenient mini bar. As Venice is a bit of a ghost town after 8.30pm the bar down stairs is also great for snacks and drinks.

Breakfast each morning was lovely and Valentina made us and our daughter feel so very welcome. Plenty of eggs to boil, pastries, cheeses, meats, cereal, yoghurt, waffles etc.

Concierge services also great for recommending places to eat and the tour boat out to Murano island was an added bonus.

The hotel was also able to arrange door to door transfers for us to the airport which was excellent. Would stay here again for sure!

Location was good very close to San Marco, walking distance to all the main attractions in Venice, The room was nice having all the facilities needed. Size of the room was big compared to other hotels i stayed at in Europe

I felt that the hotel was a bit over rated, . Breakfast wasn't very impressive

Visited with family and friends for three nights. Again a perfect stay in this friendly hotel.
Large assortment of foods for a continental breakfast. Comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. Helpful staff who assist in organising theatre/opera evenings. Water taxi is fabulous and takes you right up to the door, this was arranged for us by staff when we booked the hotel. Thank you to all staff for a very enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend and will visit again.

Room tip: Rooms on the south side are very quiet.

stayed at this hotel the beginning of September, lovely old hotel, we arrived early so room wasn't ready, but they took our luggage and ushered us into the cosy lounge were we had lovely coffee and cakes, our room was soon ready and we were taken to the top floor, room was big enough for us, with a lovely bathroom, well furnished and very comfortable. went for a lovely walk, you really do need a guide of some description when first venturing out, which was supplied by the hotel. We wanted to go Murano one day the hotel even organise a private water taxi for free and jump the queue into the glass factory, all we had to pay for was the water bus back, so much cheaper than if we had booked it in the UK, we had a lovely day. Breakfast as the hotel is very good, quite a lot of choice continental or eggs and bacon, fruit, most things that you would want, very good value at ten Euros. The only things that were a slight inconvenience was that there was no hair dryer, iron or tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but on asking they were sent up to the room no problems. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, always ready to help, would highly recommend this hotel.
