We landed at the parking garage san marco and asked for a private taxi to take us to the Liassidi Palace Hotel. It was 75 euro and they brought us right to the door. The rooms were very nice and the hotel employees are very pleasant. Great stay.

Room Tip: Room was clean and AC was good.

This hotel is not too big, not crazily expensive, is ideally located, has a wonderfully efficient yet unobtrusive staff, is accessible by boat, and is set within a stunning building....what more can a visitor ask for?
I really did enjoy my experience here. A place like this comes about only through meticulous planning and consistent adherence to set standards.

We just returned from two nights in Venice at this lovely hotel! The hotel was in a great location - very close to the grand canal yet just off of it for a quiet and more neighborhood feel. Our room was spectacular (408) and upon arrival our greeting from Mr. Danielle was so warm and welcoming it was unbelievable. He was fantastic with his recommendations throughout our stay - and even had a bottle of Bellini on ice for us in the room when we arrived. The extra attentiont to detail was amazing!! The courtyard is lovely and a nice place to unwind and relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options. We also took their free boat to Murano and found that to be a nice addition to the services of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.....for Venice....it is a very good hotel for the price!

Room Tip: We booked a junior suite with canal view and I emailed the hotel to see if a corner room would be po...

We stayed in a junior suite for 3 nights and enjoyed the space and the canal view along with large bathroom. We had a very friendly check-in experience however did not subsequently find other staff particularly friendly or guest focused. Nice courtyard a great place for some pre or post dinner drinks however one of the nights we stayed the staff were more focused on packing up a good half an hour earlier than closing time and we did not feel welcome. We did not find the breakfast or breakfast room in keeping with our expectation of an SLH hotel - ok but nothing special, would have been nice to be in the courtyard as the room feels a little under ground and dated. Other than these small issues this is overall a good hotel. The best feature is its location. Easy to get to and close to everything while being away from the hordes of tourists.

We stayed here as a family for four nights in late June and found Liassidi to be an ideal location away from the hordes of St Mark's Square but an easy walk. It was a very quiet hotel given the location and time of year. We had two rooms, 201 which was a junior suite (basically a decent sized hotel room) and 202 which was split level with bathroom and table/chairs downstairs so it made it feel bigger. Our children loved the novelty of this but I wouldn't care for the steep stairs up to the bed myself. It is a very clean hotel and such a quiet location with it's own canal access which is helpful for arrival/departure. Staff all very kind and helpful, booking restaurants etc. Good breakfast selections catering for all our different tastes. Nice courtyard for a coffee or drink in the evening. A few steps from best gelato in Venice, The Green Apple. Highly recommended. Good value for high season.

Just back from a weekend in Venice the hotel was perfect for us location was right in the heart of Venice but in a lovely quiet setting. The staff were extremely helpful and although they don't have a restaurant they recommended some lovely restaurants. They also have a lovely little courtyard where you can sit and have a quiet drink away from the noise and crowds of Venice.

Room Tip: We Had a suite and it was lovely my only complaint would be the pillows were really really hard And...

Great, quiet room with canal view but what took our breath away was the decor. Our ceiling must have been 20 feet high and topped with a giant Muarano glass chandelier. We had a large painting of a woman between giant leaded glass windows. Drapes and furniture of Venetian red velvet and damask silk. Beautiful terrazzo floor, uber-chic modern bathroom - what a great room! It was located next to a common room that can be noisy until 10pm, but in Venice, you go out to dinner until at least then so it did not spoil our stay at all. The breakfast included with our rate was adequate but nothing to wax on about. The location of this boutique hotel gets you out of the main tourist crush, which is always one of my goals so I would definitely stay here again. Staff were extremely helpful with our lost luggage misadventure, (thank you United for that).

Room Tip: Ask for something dramatic if that's your thing because they have it!
