Great little hotel with an excellent location and all the charms of Venice. On the Grand Canal and only steps away from the train station and bus to the airport. Spent 4 nights here and not one complaint. The staff were warm and friendly. Francesca and Anka were extremely helpful and knowledgeable!!

We stayed 4 nights, the staff were very helpful. We would stay here again. When you get off the bus at Piazzle Roma, you walk across a bridge and down the grand canal, and you arrive at their doorstep. You will not need to haul your luggage very far, and no need for a taxi. we stayed on the 4th floor, it was very quiet. We could step out the front door and walk the canal or to San Marco square. The train station is right across the canal! It was clean, and the breakfast was included. It has A/C, and an elevator, which a lot of hotels don't. If you are boarding a cruise ship, again great location. I am glad that it was recommended, nice staff.

Although it is an older, smaller hotel, we chose to stay here for two nights because of its proximity to the train station, the Grand Canal and its TripAdvisor ratings. We were absolutely delighted that we did. Everyone reviewing this hotel calls it charming, and it is exactly that. It has a wonderful staff which made every effort to accommodate our party of six. They greeted us by name when we arrived and treated as like part of their family. The various staff members at the front desk provided excellent restaurant recommendations, made dinner reservations for us and mapped out detailed instructions on how to get there and back. They also arranged for a complimentary water taxi to take us to Murano to see glass production, and explained how we could then catch the vaporetto to travel on to the quaint and scenic island of Burano to shop for lace. They also patiently explained to us how to get everywhere in the city. ( As an aside, if you decide to go Burano, do stop at the Trattoria al Gatto Nero for lunch. The restaurant is first-rate and the seafood is excellent.)

The rooms at the hotel are updated, clean and comfortable, the breakfast is good and we enjoyed sitting at the tables outside of the hotel and watching the traffic on the canal pass by while we had morning coffee or an afternoon drink from the bar. While the action in Venice tends to be on the other side of the city in the Piazza San Marco, you can easily access it from the many vaporetto you catch just across the bridge from this hotel. You even get to enjoy the scenic ride down the canal and under the Rialto Bridge. The friendly staff at the hotel's front desk will tell you how to do it. We loved our stay in Venice, and the Hotel Antiche Figure was a large part of why we did.

My family and I spent three nights and loved this small, quaint hotel. We spent three weeks in Italy and Venice and this hotel were our favorites. The staff was very helpful and always willing to help. It is a small hotel right on the Grand Canal, which made it a nice place to have cocktails from the hotel bar and sit outside and people watch and enjoy the atmosphere of Venice. We enjoyed sleeping with our windows open and enjoying the cool breeze and sounds of Venice. It has the feel of a Bed and Breakfast. I highly recommend Hotel Antiche Figure.

Excellent location on the Grand Canal, opposite the main train station and a convenient distance for accessing the people-mover to get to the cruise-ship terminal. The hotel is, of course, very old and although not particularly appealing form the outside, it is a pleasant place in which to rest your head. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, spoke very good English, and made good recommendations on how to purchase vaporetto tickets and gave directions to attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was pleasant. The room was perfectly quiet due to double glazing on the windows but had opening windows so guests can look out over the grand canal and enjoy the buzz if they wanted to.

We chose the hotel primarily because we were leaving Venice by train and wanted to be close to the train station, but also because many Trip Advisor reviews were so positive about the hotel, its staff and service. We couldn't agree more. Anka and Gianni in particular were helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging porter service, but all of the staff were real gems. Kudos to their HR chief. AC worked well, too, and our room was quiet.

Lovely small hotel with lots of history and extremely convenient to the train station, the vaporetto and the grand canal. The staff was outstanding (particularly Francesca) - providing us with travel tips and restaurant recommendations. Our room was charming and quiet. The breakfast was excellent as well. Highly recommend this hotel.
