We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights.
Great location, reasonable price, nice breakfast and free wifi.
We spent most of our time exploring beautiful Venice so didn't spend too much time in the hotel.
Therefore we didn't mind the roof view which wasn't great but overall very good stay.

-We stayed here in March. The hotel is a good location for arriving in Venice as is close to the Piazzale Roma where the bus from the airport drops you off. The train station is near by and the vaporetto stops couldn't be any closer!
-Our room was plain, simple and clean as expected. There is no tv or telephone for which we did not miss as we were out exploring all day. We had a double bed with ensuite on the 2nd floor. You need to walk up the stairs so if you have mobility problems this could be a problem.
We were lucky to have a lovely bright room, it had 2 windows. The Breakfast was downstairs and was also basic. There was a hot drinks machine with a very good selection of drinks, fresh rolls, prepacked croissants, fresh cake, ham, cheese and yogurts. We found the staff to be polite.
- As others have said, there did seem to be some rooms with shared bathrooms.
- When you come out of the hotel and turn right you will come to the main vaporetto stops and a local supermarket (buy some fresh items for a picnic in the Gardens near St Marks Square). By following the path you will come to the Piazzale Roma and a bridge which crosses to the railway station.
- We found buying a 36 hour vaporetto ticket was enough for us as we bought in Monday 9am and lasted until Tuesday 9pm so that gave us 2 days, on the Monday we also did a night time journey on the Grand Canal.
- If you like the idea of a car free environment where you can walk lots or catch the vaporetto Venice is the the place for you!
- I would return to Venice and would also consider this hotel again given the location.

Room Tip: a room with an ensuite is more private than sharing.

We stayed here for 4 nights from 19th May, the cleanliness is very good, breakfast ample to start the day. We did not find the staff friendly and the staff that do the breakfast are very good clearing the tables but they did not speak at all to the guests or smile !!
Yes the building is great and full of history being an ex monestry but we had room 103 in my view this is a size of a single room but they have put a double bed in which makes the bathroom door only open half way banging into the bed and we had no view but a brick wall so it made it very claustrophobic for us and the lightswitch was behind the wardrobe so difficult to find.In the evening we would sit in their lounge area where they have settees because of the room, but I am greatful that we had our own bathroom as some other rooms have to share a bathroom. We booked this 6 months ago and was very disappointed with the room we got perhaps we should have emailed before we went.
The location is very good you can either walk which I found it to be a nice walk past shops or get the vaperetto you can one of these to go to any of the main tourists attractions. we got the 3 day pass for 35 euros .

Overall for the money it is very good, but I would not return I would rather pay more for a better room elsewhere .

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. So very clean and so handy to the ship we were about to embark on, it is basic and very good value for money, we would rather not spend our money on expensive accommodation that we were only going sleep in and this bed and breakfast fitted the bill nicely. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, we will most certainly stay again.

Room Tip: we had a room overlooking the canal, would be noisy for some people but we loved it.

We slightly disappointed to find two single beds, rather than a double bed. The room was small, though we were pleased to have a view of the canal. We had to share a large bathroom with two other rooms. The staff was mostly nice, though we were told there are no maps available, but we later saw the lady give another guest a map. Hard to find inexpensive options within Venice, but would likely try somewhere else on our next visit.

This hotel is situated next to piazale roma: the central area from where you can take the bus, vaporeto etc. It is also within walking distance from almost everywhere. I stayed there for one week, and I have to say that this is an extremely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms are smallish: there was no table so I had to put my laptop on the chair and work from there (unfortunately I needed to work during my stay :( ). Also, it was not possible to have my suitcase open in the floor as there was no room for me to move across the room. But these are the only cons. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I booked this through Booking.com and was very satisfied. I understand that this hotel was a former convent, so the rooms are small but clean and perfectly adequate. Venice is expensive and we didn't want to spend all of our money on accommodations, for a place we were just going to sleep, so this fit the bill. We were on the second (third) floor, and I was a bit leery of the cement stairs as I have a bad knee and a hip replacement, but there is a quirky elevator for emergencies, which was a plus with luggage. Breakfast was ample for a continental breakfast--not spectacular but considering the budget accommodations, the self-serve buffet-style with juice, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, rolls, little packaged breakfast foods, cheese and cold cuts, juice, cereal, etc. was just fine. The location, close to the lovely Santa Croce neighborhood was great--we enjoyed getting lost and being far from the touristy area. the location so close to the train station and the Vaporetto was a major plus. We had no problem with the staff--we arrived early and they kept our luggage for us until check-in time while we wandered around the neighborhood.
