This is a nice church with some impressive artwork and a calm atmosphere, it's not exactly on all of the tourist paths so it retains some quiet charm. The bones of St. Lucia (Lucy) are kept here on the altar, a nice pilgrimage stop if you need to pray for someone's eyesight!

This is a quite church, located in the Cannaregio District of Venice. The church was rebuilt several times from the Century XI. The history of the building is easy to see in the different styles and ages that both the bell tower and the church have.
Here the remains of Santa Lucia di Siracusa is housed in the main altar.
In comparison with the luxury and the majesty of the big churches visited in Rome, Milan or Florence, San Geremia seems to be a humble place, maybe, closer to the ordinary people.
