“Vaporetto dell'arte”

Vaporetto dell'Arte Canal Grande

Amazing...and well worth the money. We are visiting Venice September and the crowds are unbelievable .... shoulder to shoulder in certain places, therefore the public actv water buses are full and you often have to wait for 2 or 3 water buses before you can get on. After a tiring day walking, the dell'arte water bus was a welcome respite and finished off our day beautifully. Comfortable chairs, guided audio tour, free book, and what feel like sheer luxury when you consider the alternative!

A comfortable way to ride the grand canal in Venice.
Here you have wi-fi access and you can hop on and hop off anytime you want

Fabulous, leasurely way to see all of the wonderful buildings along the Grande Canal. Commuters take the cheaper regular Vaporetto which are always crowded. Pay a little more for the dell'Arte Vaporetto and you get a seat with commentary on the attractions.

This boat comparing to public transport Vaporetto is much more free and comfortable than totally overcrowded Vaporetto especially in high season! In Vaporetto d Arte there are only few people inside! Great tour if you wanna explore Grand canal and surrounded areas! 36 hours ticket cost around 30€.

Vaporetto dell'arte worths every dollar spent. It comes every 30 mins. The best thing is there is not crowded on board and queue comparing to normal waterbuses especially during high season. Drawbacks are 1) there are very limited stops and none that is close to one to Bridge of sigh. 2) it runs only until 7pm so in summer when it gets dusk around 9.30 , you can forget about the night view from this Service.

If you wanna go to Murano, you still need to buy a separate ticket for waterbus. Watch out for Murano glass, some of them are made in China, even for the shops that claim they sell Italy made one. Careful on shop Prices ,one shop can sell much higher price from other shops even though its the same stuff and nearby. It depends on your survey , patient, Luck.
