There is a reason Hotel Moresco is the top rated hotel in Venice. Quaint, charming, excellent service. When we arrived we were given a complimentary beverage and relaxed on the beautiful patio while our bags were delivered to our spacious room. Breakfast every morning was delicious and quite robust. Pastries, fruit, prosciutto, fresh squeezed juice, gourmet teas and eggs cooked to order. Yum! Hotel staff was always helpful with directions and suggestions. Location perfect, as away from the St. Marks/Rialto bustle but an easy walk. Highly recommend!!

This hotel is amazing, like the hundreds of other reviews, me and my girlfriend found our 3 night stay at Hotel Moresco faultless.

The hotel boasts modern features subtly, blending in with the stylish venetian surroundings.

It's hard writing a review without mirroring all of the others, however I must echo all of the other excellent reviews. The staff can't do enough, without making you feel uncomfortable. The rooms are great, the pictures actually don't do them justice, I was disappointed at first being on the ground floor however there was absolutely nothing wrong it was so quiet.

One extra thing I really liked was the price of the drinks in the bar and mini bar, for a fantastic hotel like this the drinks were a few euros each 3 euros for beer or wine.

I will definitely be returning and I can't wait, over the last few years I have stayed at some of the top hotels on tripadvisor and must say this hotel beats them all, this is my first review on this sight mainly because I just couldn't justify not telling everyone how great it is and also giving the praise to the hotel that it deserves.

Room Tip: Any room would be great, I had the traveller room which is on the ground floor. Also be sure to hav...

Hotel Moresco is as close to perfection as one might find. There are always small nits to pick but the overall impression is of a truly well-run establishment where staff are dedicated to providing exceptional service in a genuinely warm atmosphere. And the hotel's location couldn't be better. We stayed at the end of a cruise and found the hotel to be a very doable walk of less than 10 minutes from the People Mover terminus at Piazzale Roma. There's one bridge to cross, giving you an opportunity to ask yourself why you needed to pack so much stuff in your luggage, and then a right turn and about two blocks of level walking. Once settled in at the hotel you'll find a vaporetto stop a bit beyond the People Mover station at Piazzale Roma. The hotel also provides an excellent map with walking directions. We can't wait to return.

As I am writing this I am sitting in the lovely terrace area of this special hotel. With the beer and glass of wine I ordered comes a small sandwich which is yet another complimentary offering - just one of the many small but important touches which make this hotel so unique.
This is our second day here, last night we found the beds a little hard. We mentioned this to the very helpful guy on reception, when we returned from a day sightseeing we found an extra duvet on our bed to sleep on for extra padding. These guys can not do enough for you, but are not intrusive. A perfect balance and I would highly recommend this hotel to as anyone thinking of visiting Venice.

We arrived earlier than planned but that was no problem for Hotel Moresco who quickly set us up with breakfast (even though it had already ended), a cup of cappuccino, and juice in a beautifully decorated living room. Soon after we were escorted to our room where our bags were already waiting. The room was a canal front room. It had plenty of space for us and was exactly as pictured on the web site. The bathroom was modern, with plenty of amenities, and super clean. I can not say enough about this beautiful hotel. The front desk staff is very helpful, the breakfast was plentiful even offering honey comb, and happy hour was a relaxing event to return to after a long day of site seeing. The garden is a relaxing place to put your feet up, or have breakfast every morning.

Room Tip: I would skip the canal view since there is no balcony to really enjoy the view from. Maybe if visit...

We often see fake smiles plastered to the hotel staff in good hotels.
Somehow, from the moment we arrived the staff made us feel at home. Smiles were genuine and not forced, small talk was a pleasure, not a necessary evil.
We enjoyed a complimentary drink on arrival while our bags were carried to the room.
Hotel was beautiful and very clean.
Breakfast was included and delicious, too.
We only stayed one night due to the business nature of our trip but we were really reluctant to leave.
Absolutely 10 out of 10 experience - would not look at other hotels while in Venice.
Well done and thank you!

This has to be the best hotel ever! Located on a quiet canal, the small, elegant hotel is wonderful. From the moment you step inside, you feel that you've arrived home. We were greeted as long lost friends, sat in the parlor with snacks and drinks until our luggage could be delivered to our rooms. A bottle of chilled Proseco was waiting in our room. We will definitely be back!
