“Exactly what I expected.”
Reviewed 27 June 2013

Highlight of the trip. But choose well and watch all the drivers. Its 80 Euro so might as well make the best of it. We went three times and one of the drivers sang, some know more history than others. They all talk to each other because you meet many on your ride. They are making jokes and shouting at each other playfully. They are all kind of the same. If you choose the company by the sea near St Marks Square the highlight is the "Hotel Brad and Angelina stayed in." If you get a ride in the ones by the Rialto Bridge, the highlight is the Rialto Bridge and the Grande Canal. Which is is way better. Not sure where you find him, but we saw one gondola near the Rialto with a Driver and a Singer. Very Opera-esque. That looked awesome and expensive.

“Aaaah Venice!”
Reviewed 17 April 2013

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that amore....well that's just one gondola serenade that they will sing to you, you pay extra for the singer and musician but its worth it, a tour round the famous canals, along with all the Italian favourite songs from Pavaroti etc, my wife loved it, she actually cried, then again shes always been a wuss. No seriously lovely!!!

“what an experience...expensive though !”
Reviewed 15 March 2013

Gondola ride ...for me it was like a dream come true....i always wanted to do it from the time i knew it existed. Venice itself is a magical city with all that water and small shops and a different experience, but i would strongly recommend a gondola experience for anyone who is in Venice. If you wanna enjoy the real venice....u know those small water channels and shops right left and real insight of teh city....then gondola is for you! for us it was very cold also but still we loved it.

i loved it and i think its a serene experience but yes it was really expensive @Euro 80 for half an hour.

“Famous Gondola... Not so famous price!!!!!”
Reviewed 17 December 2012 via mobile

As I had to be done... I paid the €80 for the gondola trip from the Rialto on the 15/12/12, me and my Girlfriend enjoyed the trip but the down side was the cold weather and the time on the tour. We must have had literally 20ish minutes out and for the €80 price I thought was daylight robbery.

“A Serene Experience”
Reviewed 12 November 2012

A gondola ride in Venice is a cliche experience that many would avoid because it is too "touristic". To think that way is a mistake -- take a gondola away from the main attractions like San Marco and you will suddenly find you are in an area of tranquil enjoyment. It is a serene experience and not to be missed. A gondola ride is expensive but there is value for money. To drift silently through the small canals passing the stunning architecture that is Venice is a magical experience, then to be on the Grand Canal slipping below the Rialto Bridge is exciting. It is unique and should not be missed.
