As we were staying in the hotel, we chose to eat here on our first night in Venice. It happened to be a festival so there was a special set menu, it was very fishy but they were happy to substitute a fish dish for a beef dish for those of us who don't eat fish.
I can genuinely say this was by far the best meal we had in Venice. The beef was just beautiful, cooked to perfection, delicious and melted in your mouth. We got through quite a few bottles of very nice Italian wine (we were there as a group!), but found it to be very good value.
We also ate at Cips Club but the food at Alle Corone was far superior.
