Our last day in Venice. A 30 minute vaporetto ride to the Lido - past the the Arsenale and the Giardini. We found our way to La Pagoda overlooking the Adriatic for lunch. I wish I could say more about our waiter, but he seemed somewhere between bored and indifferent. The redeeming quality, however, was the food. We ordered a seafood risotto that was exceptional. Clams, lobster, mussels, shrimp, and lobster that took 30 minutes to prepare, and well worth the wait. If you are willing to tolerate the less than stellar service, the meal will make up for it. That, along with the setting will combine to make for a memorable experince.
