We booked this hotel since my brother recommend it. They were very accommodating and even ordered a water taxi from the airport to the hotel. When we got to Venice we were told that canal was closed so no water taxis were allowed and so we had to take a vaporetto. Then getting off the Vaporetto we started to walk to hotel, since it looked like it was close to the stop. Well it wasn't as close plus the steps of the bridges were impassable with our luggage so we hired a porter. We get to the hotel and didn't realize there was no elevator. They are located on the first floor. A very sweet girl greeted us and helped with the luggage. The rooms were large and clean and very comfortable. The staff was excellent and knowledgeable. They were so sorry about the water taxi incident that they gave us fruit in our rooms. The drinks in the fridge were also complimentary. I would recommend this boutique hotel with a great location.

My wife wanted to take pictures of St. Mark's square when nobody was around, so we wanted a hotel close enough to be able to run back and forth at all hours. Ca' del Nobile was ideally situated, had the best reviews on tripadvisor and was price comparable or better. We were not disappointed in this 5-8 room hotel. The directions on the website were perfect for getting there from the airport without getting lost (in Venice this means something). The hotel host, Vita, met us on the first floor and offered to help us with our luggage up the 1 flight of stairs we had to take. Although we did not take her up on this, this would be very helpful for some people and was greatly appreciated. She quickly checked us in and offered to help us enjoy our stay in Venice by providing any information she could. She was knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortably sized (above average size for Venice in San Marco) with a laughably small television by american standards (lots of channels though). Unfortunately, we were only there two nights and enjoyed both of them tremendously. We would return to Ca' del Nobile again without hesitation. Lastly, we were grateful for the reviews on tripadvisor that served us well again

This is a small (about 5 rooms) hotel in central old Venice, a few minutes walk from St. Marks Square, but because it is on a small side street off the main drag, it's actually very quiet, with no noticeable noise from the street. The building is quite old but the rooms have been modernized and are tastefully furnished and comfortable. We stayed in the Casanova room, which is the one with the four poster bed pictured on their website. A continental breakfast is included with the room, and is a cut above the usual toast and jam version, with excellent coffee. The proprietors were extremely warm and helpful, and spoke good English; one of them actually walked three blocks with us with our luggage when we checked out, to show us where the water taxi was meeting us. The one downside for us that prevented this from being a five star experience was the bed in our room. Our first night we were so jet lagged we slept through and didn't notice any problems, but on our second morning we both woke up with major aching backs, and were glad we weren't booked for a third night. If you are someone who does well with firm mattresses, it may be just fine for you, plus I have no idea if the other rooms feature similarly firm mattresses.

We loved our 3 night stay here. Roberto (evenings) and Vita (mornings) made our stay so welcoming. They answered all our questions with an infectious and genuine enthusiasm! Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated in Venetian style decor. It's more like a home than a hotel with its cosy and warm ambience.

Breakfast in the morning was fantastic like so many reviewers have already posted.

Wifi signal was strong and easy to set up.

You are right smack where everything is, yet quiet for a good night's rest. Just round the corner is Venchi, a chocolatier that sells really yummy dark chocolate gelato. Try the other flavours too. They are all good.

If you are relying on public transport to get here from Marco Polo airport, you can take the orange or blue Alilaguna boats. The orange Alilaguna plies down the Grand Canal but the blue goes by another route round the lagoon. But do check for timings. We missed both boats by the time our plane arrived, so we hopped on to the ACTV bus to Piazzale Roma then took the vaporetto (combo ticket was €10 - otherwise separately €5 for bus, plus €7 for vaporetto). You can buy the combo ticket from the booth at the airport. If you are in a hurry to get to the hotel, take vaporetto #2 & stop at the Rialto. Otherwise, go all the way to San Marco with vaporetto #1. The ride is spectacular as you make your way down the Grand Canal - an amazing start to your stay in Venice.

My mom and I stayed at Ca' del Nobile for 5 nights in May 2012. The hotel was easy to find from Piazza San Marco. We were greeted when we arrived and helped with our luggage. Our room was beautiful and clean. The receptionist welcomed us and talked us through a map of the area and gave us some tips for the vaperettos. Our breakfast was also enjoyable. We had fresh coffee and tea every morning with pastries. We were very delighted on our last day they offered us a free bottle of proseco to enjoy during our afternoon break. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Rialto Bridge, Piazza San Marco, and the Academia. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We (myself and my wife) have been there for 2 nights. It was my wife's birthday and I asked the staff by email if I could ship a parcel containing a gift directly to the hotel. The staff answer was prompt, kind and very accommodating. They have proposed to set the gift in the room, on the bed with rose petals. They have then arranged everything: when we arrived we were greated and accompanied to the room which was very nice and fully set for the surprise. Everything went very well. This is just a little example to tell you what ca del nobile and its staff is about. I will not even mention the rest: things like advice on restaurants, walks, events, places and all sorts of good recommendations are normality here.
The location is superb, 2 minutes to s. Marco Square and 5 to Rialto.
However the key feature of this accommodation is a superb staff, very warm, discreet and professional that is Genuinely interested in making you holiday and time in Venice a memorable experience. They all go beyond their duties going the extra mile for the guests making them feel not as guests but part of their family: in other words a fine luxurious italian experience.
Worth to mention are Vita and Roberto who have done everything for us during our stay: they make you feel as a friend in a few days and you'll never want to live.
Definitely the place to stay in Venice.

We spent a wonderful time in this hotel. Nicola, the owner and Vita were very welcoming, at our disposal to make our stay a pleasant one. Breakfast is really delicious with Nicola's special cakes, not to talk about their croissants with apricot jam....! No hour limit to have breakfast, which is really great! The atmosphere is close to that of a ' maison d'hôtes'. And we were even offered a little present on checking out!
The rooms are very clean and comfortable, one of them had a safe ( CASANOVA). Very quiet street, no noise before 9:30.... One litlle restriction: bathrooms lack some space to put our stuff away.
Free mini bar, free wifi connection, hair dryer in the bathrooms and all amenities.Information on how to get there were accurate and precise. Contacts by mail were very rapid.
I would definitely recommend this hotel :its situation is ideal ( close to san Marco and Rialto) and everyone was really helpful and friendly.
Thank you Nicola and Vita for making our stay even more comfortable and unforgettable!
