We stayed in the room with the beautiful terrace with a peek of the Grand Canal. The terrace was expansive with lovely furniture and views across to St Marco's campanile, the room a little on small side but still attractive. Easy to get to and wondierful location for easy walks to the RIalto bridge and across to St Marco's square. The breakfasts are a treat with everything fresh, from the juices, to the pastries and crossiants and coffee. A beautiful place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Shame about the internet...

Room Tip: The terrace is a wonderful thing to have in hot weather

We stayed in the family apartment upstairs, which ha two spearate bedrooms. It was big and the air conditiing was nice, but no view. The people who worked there were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice and the brealfast room has a great view of the Grand Canal. The hotel is in a good location, as it is a very short walk to the Realto Bridge. We walked everywhere.

Stayed here in a triple room with DW and DS for three nights in June. They both thought it was wonderful, while I thought it was only great.

So let's see:
1. Very good breakfast with wonderful views of the Grand canal. Fruit is fresh!
2. Clean rooms.
3. Easy to get to from Rialto- no hauling baggage over bridges or over cobblestones, it is flat going all the way.
4. Very small bathroom, with a small shower.
5. Very helpful staff, Ambra (spelling???) gave us a recemmendation to a restaurant in San Polo square where we had a very good meal.
6. Centrally located.
7. Reasonable good beds with nice pillows.

I think the acid test here would be if i would consider staying here again? Definiately yes!

When we checked in, they surprised us with an upgrade to a junior suite! The suite was elegantly furnished with antiques. It was spacious, luxurious, and had a view of the grand canal. The bathroom was also spacious, with a tub and a whirlpool. The person at the reception was business-like, but still very helpful. Breakfast was very good too. One of us had to leave on an early flight and they packed us a huge breakfast box with croissant, juice, yoghurt, biscuits, etc. All in all, not sure what the junior suite actually costs, but given the free upgrade, we felt absurdly pampered for a day.

Location is near the Rialto, but on a side street that feels fairly quiet. The inn is one floor of a building with other businesses/residences.

We are family of 5. We stayed on the top floor room consisted of 3 small rooms and living room area.
In master bedroom there were 1 king sized bed. The 2nd room has 2 single beds. The 3rd room has 1single bed but no AC. Each room and the living room area has AC except the 3rd room. Everything was really clean especially the bathroom. The only downside was that there was only one bath room.
There were even 2 sofa beds.
The breakfast was very simple but the dining area was beautiful facing grand canal.

We stayed at Ca' Angeli for 3 nights with my husband and three children. It was a nice, quaint, quiet hotel.

Right away we were impressed as we were checked-in. Our host gave us a brief orientation to Venice and gave us a great map. They helped arrange a tour of Murano, printed our boarding passes, and arranged transportation to the airport for us.

The breakfasts were delicious each morning including fruits, cereals, meats, cheeses, pastries, and assorted beverages. This definately filled up my hungry children!

We were so happy to find we had a lovely suite that would accomadate our entire family! Everyone had a room and we shared a bathroom. There was even a small sitting area we enjoyed!

As for the location, it was right on the Grand Canal (although we didn't have a view room). It was centrally located. We walked nearly everywhere and nothing took over 15 minutes (train station, St Marks Square, Rialto Bridge).

I would definately recommend this place to stay. It was great for our family but also would be great for a romantic trip!

Room Tip: Suite is great for families!

The money we paid to stay here is a bit more than we usually like spend on accommodation. We booked this accommodation because of such a good write up in the Lonely Planet Guide and were not disappointed. It is certainly worth the money. Very quiet and comfortable room (though a little small). The location was great, right in the heart of it all. An easy walk to everywhere, sights, restaurants shops etc. A little tricky to find. Our room had a huge terrace that we loved. The staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast and service was unbelievable. The breakfast room overlooks the Grand Canal. It was delightful to have breakfast and be able to look look out to the canal.
