What a great find!!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 3 Dec 2017via mobile
Hotel is a short walk from the train station and extremely easy to find. Also very close to an Alilaguna stop if you're travelling to/from the airport.

The hotel is exceptionally clean with beautiful rooms. I'm not sure if they're all the same, but we were lucky to have a huge canal facing room with lounge area. Bathroom was bright and clean and very modern.

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast here is basic, but did the job. (Nice selection of drinks, 2 pastries per couple and a selection of cereal/bread.) With so much amazing food around every corner it's probably not a bad thing to have a lighter breakfast!!

The hotel is a very short walk from some beautiful restaurants. Would recommend Trattoria Bar Pontini - definitely worth making a reservation!

Near to the Ghetto, this hidden gem offers beautiful rooms. Cleanliness at the highest level, elegant well-appointed rooms. The rooms in the "dependence" are the best value in Venice. And the hosts are charming and accommodating too! Perfect WiFi.

Room tip: I have only stayed in the dependence, which is lovely.

Our first trip to Venice and we picked the right hotel to stay at. Our room was not a canal view room but it was very accommodating in size, very well appointed but most importantly, spotlessly clean. You can tell right away this is professionally run with care for the guests. The location is excellent, we walked to it from the train station in less than 10 minutes. Great location for vaporettos, which we used several times. We were here overnight, and look forward to coming back again. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Don't be put off by the front elevation of the building. The main entrance is just around the corner. The room was lovely and clean with adequate plug sockets, minibar and hairdryer. Decor was old french style with material wall hangings as opposed to wallpaper, looked as if it had not long been refurbished. The staff were helpful and friendly. The reason I have only given a very good rating and not an excellent one is that whilst a continental breakfast was included, there was not much choice and you had to catch the waitress if you wanted more than the first cup of coffee which was served to you.

Room tip: Rooms at the front will have a view of the canal but may be noisier. Our room was at at the side and did not have noise.

We could not have been happier than finding this place to stay in Venice.

The people are warm and caring and serve continental breakfast in the morning. They do not have a lift so if you have a ton of bags you will need to make a few trips. We found the location perfect to be out of the masses and quiet for the most part aside from some construction close by. The rooms are very clean and vintage feeling with pretty cool ambiance. Pretty close walk to the train station and the entry port.

If we came to Venice again would definitely stay here again.

We had the top level room overlooking the canal and its amazing.
Room is spacious and relatively clean. Its kind of old french type decor, very marie antoinette type. Overall happy my one suggestion is to put in a shower screen as water goes everywhere when taking a shower over bath.
And also, down the road near the bridge there is a Trattoria called Pontini, recommended by the hotel and its a very very good Trattoria, go eat there at least once.
