“More natural”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

Visited this square in early evening and found it to be very natural with kids playing football, grandparents watching from a bench, lot's of people relaxing outside a coffee shop and small market. Very nice.

“Fun away from the maddening crowd”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

Venice, ah yes! Beautiful palazzos, gondolas galore, chick shops....BUT, if you like me look for the fun side to every city, then this place is for you. Campo Santa Marquerita is worth the visit. Dont worry if you dont fit in with the chick crowd, your sneakers and jeans will blend in just fine. The Campo is filled with cool bars/restaurants and the occational vendor selling fruits/veggies. The afternoons see the Campo becoming alive with locals walking theirs "kids" and the younger adults having their rdv's. This Campo is very close to the university hence the young energy.
If you need to pick up anything for your room or flat, there is a supermarket tucked away in one corner. A must visit for the young at heart!

“Little Gem”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

A great little place to visit and not too touristy. Lots of little stalls and shops but not too much for those who like to give the more touristy areas a wide berth!

“Great non touristy place”
Reviewed 2 March 2014 via mobile

Large piazza with several bars and restaurants.
If you want hang with locals living in Venice come here in the evenings. Most tourists leave around 5pm so if are spending a few nights in Venice this is a must at one point.
