“Large Square!”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

This is a large square with some benches and a great place to people watch. The day we were there a lot of Italian school children were on a field trip.
There are the usual restaurants, shops and a fruit & veggie stand.
A drinking fountain is in the square. At the end of the square is a small supermarket, so frugal visitors came make their own lunch.

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

During my stay in Venice I can honestly say that this was my favourite location. Not a very well know square and is out the way from many other famous tourist attractions. Every night we sat on a bench with the locals and had a drink. The atmosphere was fantastic, very chilled and relaxed with a selection of small bars and cafes.

“Bring a picnic lunch”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

Get away from the crowds and enjoy a picnic overlooking the grand canal, relax and enjoy the sunshine. Fresh fruit vendors for a light snack or a number of lovely restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Don't be afraid to try something new, I never had a bad meal the whole 3 weeks in Italy :)

“Lovely place to sit down and relax”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

We have found this little square just by a chance. There are plenty of benches to sit on and watch the locals going about their every day life. You can see some lovely fish stalls on Saturday.

“More natural”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

Visited this square in early evening and found it to be very natural with kids playing football, grandparents watching from a bench, lot's of people relaxing outside a coffee shop and small market. Very nice.
