Great hotel in a good location. The room was very nice, decent size for a room in Europe. The bed was great and the bathroom was very clean. We never ran into a problem. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

When arriving in Venice by train the most important factor when booking a hotel is location. Luckily we knew in advance the last thing we wanted to do was drag luggage over steps and cobblestone bridges so we found this hotel. It's a budget hotel so I can't say it was overly comfortable or that we loved being in our room but it's Venice so you shouldn't be spending much time in your room anyway. Only advice is take some insect spray because the pigeon sized mosquitos in your room will eat you alive during your sleep.

Pros: relatively inexpensive, clean, great location (5 minutes from Santa Lucia), great wi-fi (very rare), very friendly staff who recognize faces, and a breakfast is provided.
Cons: no a/c or fan in our room (even though it said there was on booking.com), no lift, if you want air you get mosquitoes too (even with the mosquito clip that's provided).

The hotel was really close to the train station. We stayed there for 3 days and really enjoed the style. You can feel the Venice spirit with outside of the building, windows of the rooms and narrow street.
The room was clean and quality enough to sleep well. Breakfast was ok.

I will choose this hotel for my next trip.

We stayed here our last night in Venice. We had returned to Venice from Florence via train. It was about a 7-10 minute walk from the train station. We needed to catch the airport shuttle in the early AM and it was about a 15-20 minute walk.

Our bed took up the entire room and I could barely turn in the shower. It was extremely tiny but clean and well kept. We were on the 3rd floor and there is no lift, which was ok; if you can't carry luggage up winding stairs, though, get a first floor room.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Great for one night if catching a ride out of town. If not, it's in a touristy, less unique part of Venice surrounded by awful restaurants and crowds.

The hotel is located maybe 5 minutes walk from the train station down a small alleyway. 4 minutes to the water taxis. There are restaurants and shops surrounding the place so it's in a very good spot for tourists.
The room itself was good, a double bed and a single for the three of us. It was nice and clean and the bathroom was fine.
Breakfast is croissants, some bread with jams etc, juices and coffee, hot chocolates etc.
The staff were great, all of them from the night to the day staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome from the beginning.
We would definitely stay here again next time we visit venice :)

We stayed here for just one night but would certainly stay again. It is just 5 minutes from the station, has a water taxi stop 2 minutes away and is just off one of the main routes to the Rialto. This means you don't have to cart suitcases across the city yet you're within easy access of the main sites. The rooms are spacious enough and very well maintained, the staff are really friendly and the prices are reasonable.
