“Venice is big...please avoid this place at all cost...”

This hotel seems very nice and tidy on their website. My friend and I were so excited about our trip to this beautiful city. But, everything changed when we checked in. First, the guys told us that our room was next building. We had to carry 40 kg of suitcase in total by stairs. No elevators. When we entered out room, there was a very strange smell like molds. There were two bathrooms: one was big and another was pathetically small. not very user-friendly. The towels they provided were poor quality and disgusting. Room was so old and creepy. The picture hanged in our room looked very uncomfortable. The lights at the stairs went off automatically at night like a timed bomb. Location is amazing. But, seriously, there are so many other hotels around this location and they all looked a lot better; similar price. So please avoid this place at all cost.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, 5 minutes walking distance from the train station and ferry station. Other than this, there's nothing good about this hotel. Literally.
We arrived around 11:30pm to the hotel. The staff told us that our room was in another building (This was not mentioned when booking the hotel), so my friend and I had to go through the dark scary alley by ourselves at midnight. Our room was on the third floor. While we were carrying our 20kg luggages climbing up the stairs, the lights went off automatically in the staircase room and we had to rely on our iphone flashlight to get to our room. The room was very small, and the bed and duvets were dirty. We even found stains on the bed sheet. The bathroom was a complete nightmare. We had to wear flip flops to the shower cause the floor was beyond dirty. There were pubic hair everywhere on the toilet seat. On the second night, I even saw a piece of turd in the shower by the drain.
I was so glad that I only stayed there for two nights. I would have cancelled my booking and lost all my fees if I had to stay more than that.

very close to the train station/ bus stops to/from airport which was a huge asset. venice is a confusing city and you don't want to be going through those little streets with your luggages. great location, venice is small as it is but at least its right off a main street with lots of restaurants and shopping which is good for those nights where you don't want to do too much exploring. be advised there is no elevator. i had a huge suitcase and backpack and there is ALOT of stairs. also breakfast was terrible. stale bread and nutella. but, the rooms were clean and wifi was strong.

This is a true scenario of "you get what you pay for." As far as I'm concerned, it more than met our needs in Venice, but we were only staying in the city for two nights adn did not want to be in our room.

It is less than a five minute walk from the train station and located on a busy street. Despite this, our room actually was shockingly quiet.

Our main concern was safety for our possessions. We had doors that opened to a "terrace" (Trust me, I use this word lightly because it was covered in garbage and dirty laundry) that was accessible by several other rooms as well as the sitting area for breakfast. This wouldn't have been a problem, except that the locks on teh door were warped, so we really couldn't lock the back while we were out. Also, there was no safe in the room.

Our room had a shared bathroom, but we never had a problem gaining access to the shower or toilet.

Stayed in a small but nice room. Great location, lots of restaurants around. Loved our room, we could look out into the hustle and bustle of the streets. Lots of steps to walk up to get in to the hotel but worth it when you're up there.

May family and I stayed one night at the Hotel Adua on June 13 before boarding a cruise in Venice. The rooms are small but comfortable and the location is very convenient to the train station. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful with everything from directions to storing luggage after check out.

Great value in Venice!

Stayed one night and got a nice room. Very convenient from Station and to walk Venice. Lots of restaurants around. Should have paid for the breakfast at the hotel - cheaper than in the restaurants. No elevator but they helped with the bags. Very friendly and clean.
