This was hands-down my favorite hotel during our trip in Italy. The hotel used to be a palace and inside the theme is Moroccan. Also, there is a bar and there are some tables outside by the canal to have a drink.

The vaporetto is about 5-10 min walk to the Madonna dell'Orto stop and is a straight shot to the Venezia Santa Lucia Station with vaporettos stopping every 10 min or so. You need to go over 1 bridge. The neighborhood, Cannaregio is quiet, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars walking distance from the hotel. If you want to walk to Piazza San Marcos and Rialto is about 20-25 min walking or you can take the vaporetto.

The rooms were a bit small but we were able to accommodate 2 big suitcases on the bedroom. The bedroom also had a large closet with space to store the luggage and the mini bar. However, because of the nightstand, it was impossible to put the luggage inside the closet. There was a desk with a chair an a TV. Our bedroom overlooked an interior courtyard and it was very quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom was a standing shower, no tub, gorgeous tile in both the shower and around the mirror. It was pretty spacious and everything super clean.

The bad thing for us since we were towards the end of the hotel was the Wi-Fi signal was weak and if you were on the side of the room by the window you wouldn't get it at all.

For breakfast, there was a coffee machine that could do hot chocolate, lattes, cappuccinos and other coffees. There was also a selection of juices, a big assortment of different pastries, croissants, bread, tarts, cereal, jellies, yogurt and fruit. For eggs, boiled or scrambled and a side of bacon. There were also cold cuts and cheese. It was pretty good, things tasted fresh, only 1 time the eggs were a little colder.

The staff, specially Paolo, were very helpful with directions and recommendations. Wish our stay was longer!

Room tip: Rooms towards the back of the hotel have weaker WiFi

Fantastic hotel excellent staff willing to go the extra mile.

We would recommend this hotel to couples and families the location is great and the rooms have the wow factor.

The breakfast has lots of choices and the bar also.

Thanks again

Lovely and impressive hotel, short walking distance to the best restaurants (not touristy at all), rooms are spacious and very clean.
Coming from Marco Polo airport you can take a private water taxi directly in front of the hotel no need to drag your suitcases to stairs and bridges of Venice , about 20 minute walk to Santa Lucia train station if you would like to take the train to Milan and Rome .
Some of the night receptionist are grouchy but that did not change my Impression of this
Wonderful hotel , pictures you see on the website are all true.
Given a chance to visit Venice again Hotel Ai Mori would be my home away from home

What a lovely three nights at this hotel. We were well looked after. The rooms and staff were just lovely. I loved breakfast as it was clean and well stocked. So nice to have a drink at the bar just by the canal too. Hoping to return one day!

Lovely place to stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, well appointed and comfortable.
The bar staff make excellent cocktails and are very helpful.
Away from the hussle and bustle but close enough to be convenient!
