Casa Rezzonico was nice. The room was comfortable. I wish the weather would have allowed for breakfast outside. Breakfast was not that great. The bathroom was large however and the location was nice. I did like the view of the small canal from our second-story window. We found a great restaurant nearby, Ristoteca Oniga, that I highly recommend.
My Wife and I recently stayed there for 3 nights. It was a serviceable hotel, but just. Rooms were utilitarian, a little cold, although the bathroom was large. The location is great, off the beaten track, but didn't feel far from anything. Nice walks every night getting home. Was a little put off by being told that "the heat is on, should be fine" when I asked for a spare blanket. Beds were basically cots: thin mattress on a spring frame.
We probably would have had a better experience if it was warmer and we were able to use to the garden instead of having breakfast inside every day.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Rezzonico. The location was great -- easy to get thereforum the train station via vaporetto and walking. We appreciated the security and the friendly assistance of the gentlemen who were there -- and someone was at the desk 24 hours a day. The breakfast was very adequate. The view from our third floor attic room was lovely, as were the church bells nearby. This was a delightful place to stay in Venice.
Nice location but no amenities at all. Service was average. No real lobby to speak of. Breakfast was pretty dismal. Brewed coffee in Italy?
We stayed there for two nights for the first part of our recent trip to Italy. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was nice as well. I agree that the location is ideal--off the beaten path, but close to to the public boat stop and within easy walking distance of restaurants and the sights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was similar to others on our trip--fairly basic, providing a decent start to our busy day. We also enjoyed the garden area in the back--a nice place to relax with a bottle of wine. All in all, a great place to stay at a reasonable price! Very charming!
We stayed there in a large quad room with our two children and were very impressed with the room which was elegant and very clean. Well situated for most of the sights of Venice I consider it an ideal location. The only gripe is that the quality of the breakfast wasn't as good as the rest of the hotel. If they upped their game on that the place would get 5 stars from me.
