We loved this little place. We had a canal view which was wonderful. The room was compact and bijou but great for a long weekend. The ladies on the desk where always polite, friendly and helpful. We will be back here.

Room Tip: Canal view.

It is off course going to be difficult to find a free room during the Venice Biennale (they are booked 6 or 7 months before), but if you go to Venice any other time I certainly recommend this place, irt is in a great central location, rooms are beautiful, clean, you wake up with the lagoon in front, the people working there is very professional and friendly, they help you with every thing with kindness. Prices off course change upon the season as every other hotel but during winter it was very affordable for a very nice place. I'm certainly going to make it my spot for when I travel to Venice.

What do want more: lagoon-view, all attractions and all vaporetti-lines (incl. airport-transfer) just a few steps away. There is some noise during night-time from boats and the sea, but....
Nice and english-speaking personnel, flexible enough to arrange upon request a late night arrival snack (incl. prosecco) for a reasonable price. For more hotel-details see http://www.atributetomusic.it/index.html
Large room 202 came with: free WiFi, free safe (w/key), courtesy bath-products, courtesy tea- and coffee-maker, mini-bar (softdrinks, water, beer).
Breakfast: compared to usual italian breakfast it's okay. Cappuccino could be a little tastier, the juices are more a kind of sirup - but who's is going to Venice for hotel-breakfasts?! All is served in a very small room - i don't dare imagine this during high-season...
If you don't know where to go for dinner, ask at the reception: with "Osteria do Gobbi" and "Restaurante Al Vecio Portal" you won't be disappointed. Both far away from any kind of "tourist trap", even if you get the menu in several languages....

Room Tip: If you get the chance, book a room with lagoon view: See sunrise an sunset from your room, have a gl...

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Being so close to St Marks Square, a valporetto stop & a fantastic restaurant (San Giorgio Pizzeria) meant we spent minimal time at the hotel. Our room had a view of a pretty little courtyard and although the room was small, it was nice & quiet. Breakfast was served in a small room with 4 tables; I would not like to be in there if it was full. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the very beginning of our stay.
I highly recommend A Tribute to Music to anyone visiting Venice!

The hotel was in a great location, 5 bridges from St Marks Square. The view from the hotel was excellent. We spent 3 nights in Venice and this was our second visit but the first time we stayed on the island of Venice. We had one of the top rooms which was overlooking the Grand Canal. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The lady at breakfast didn't speak any english but was very welcoming each morning and polite. The room was small but was exactly what we would expect in Europe. Overall it was a great hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for the top room with the balcony, great views and good for people watching.

We had a great time here.
The location was in a great spot overlooking the lagoon.
One of the great reasons why we liked it is because the staff were so helpful.
We spent 2.5 days in Venice and would certainly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Fantastic views over the lagoon come at the cost of extra boat noises.

My husband and I have just spent 7weeks in France and Italy and this hotel was the best we stayed in. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the location was excellent . Walking distance to all the attractions in Venice .The room was basic but comfortable . This hotel is the best value for money .

Room Tip: Catch a water bus from the airport and get out at the Arsenale stop. It is a short walk from there...
