“Nice hotel, great location”
Reviewed 22 August 2013 via mobile

Stayed here twice for a week. Nice family hotel with very friendly stuff. Great location in a quite place, which is just about 15 minutes from San-Marco and 5 minutes from bus and train stations, so you won't have to get over numerous bridges with your suitcases. Some rooms have separate entrance from the courtyard. Rooms are pretty small, but clean and designed in venetian style.
Traditional italian breakfast with coffee and croissants is included.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in May. We stayed in a triple room in the back. It was absolutely perfect! Very quiet and comfortable! The breakfast each morning in the quaint breakfast room was so nice! We also enjoyed using the same room in the evenings to use the wifi that worked great! It is very close to the train station. Only up and over 2 bridges. Our room did have a stairwell that went straight up when you walked in the door so if you are elderly and do not like stairs make sure to check on this. We would defiantly stay here next time we visit beautiful Venice! :)

We've just stayed at this delightful B&B for three nights. It is very easy to find. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are multilingual. Our room (economy) was very clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was big for an economy room and the breakfast was fine.
The B&B is only a few hundred metres away from the bus station, the train station and the vaporetto stops. The first thing you see when you leave the station at Piazzale Romana is the canal with small bridges and colourful houses. The location of the B&B is lovely! The area is very quiet, which is a bonus. All the sights are within walking distance. I wish we could have stayed longer! I will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We stayed at this really nice B&B for 3 nights before a cruise and chose this hotel for its fast accessibility both from public transport and car park and because of the positive reviews here. We were not disappointed: The receptionist was friendly and very helpful, e.g., with sightseeing tips. The room (superior) was cosy and quiet. The breakfast selection was a bit limited but that's not really an issue in Venice with lots of great cafes. If again in Venice, we'd stay there again.

My friend and I stayed in this lovely B & B for four nights. The hotel is very close to the bus station and the reception from all of the staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is incredibly good value for Venice. The rooms are clean and comfy and I would definitely recommend this to friends and family looking for a place to stay in Venice. The B & B is perhaps a 15 minute walk to San Marco. Thoroughly recommend!

This pensione was in a good location for land transportation and made our departing early flight transportation easy. The owner was accomodating to allow us to check in early on a rainy day after departing our cruise. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed 2 good restaurants in the area. However, there were several issues. The manager is only available for emergencies after 3 PM. We had an incidence of the heat running constantly during warm weather and no possible way to adjust or turn it off. I finally called the manager (even though it was after 3PM) when we returned from sightseeing to a room that was extremely hot . He had no idea how to adjust or turn it off and suggested that we run the air conditioner along with the heat which we did with little effect. The next afternoon when we returned, there was no heat.
Another issue was the breakfast. It was very basic with most choices being packaged crackers, yogurt, coffee, juice, and 1 croissant.
We had 1 towel each for both days and no exchange of bedding or towels during our stay. This is not an inexpensive place to stay and I would expect more services.
We had a small "kitchen" area with a microwave, table and small refrigerator (nothing else). The wierd part is that we had a full supply of pots and pans and nothing else-- no utensils, glassware, plates. I'm not sure what we were supposed to do with them. We would not stay here again.

We recently returned from Venice having spent one wonderful night at Alloggi Locanda Marinella. We stayed there on October 20 to be near the People Mover for transport to the cruise ship terminal on the 21st. Locanda Marinella is a wonderful pensione with a great breakfast and very comfortable accommodations. We stayed in a large room on the first floor and didn't have to carry luggage up the stairs. Daniel was extremely helpful to us and actually made us feel as if we were his only guests. The location of Locandi Marinella is perfectly situated near Pz. Roma, has some very good restaurants nearby and is quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
