This B&B is located in a quiet area of Santa Croce about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The girls that run this B&B were all terrific as their main concern was taking care of their customers. We had the double room in the basement which was big and very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean as was the rest of this B&B. The breakfast was very good especially the croissants and the fresh squeezed orange juice. Get the Vaporetto pass for the length of your stay to get around and be sure to go out to the islands of Murano and Burano which are included in the pass. This is a beautiful B&B that has no weakness and I would gladly stay here again.

Had a great weekend at the Ca' San Giorgio. Away for the hustle and bustle of main tourist attractions but a 10 min boat trip in you are in the heart of everything. Alessia was very helpful on giving advice on attractions plus restaurants. Would recommend Ca'San Giorgio to anyone who wanted everything to offer with regards to location but without paying typical expensive prices.

We stayed in Cà San Giorgio for the end of the Carnival and as soon as we got there we were fascinated!! Cà San Giorgio is not just in a perfect location (ten minutes from the station, 10 minutes to Rialto, 5 minutes to la Pescheria...and just 10 meters from the Canal, that offers a magic and unreal view by day and night) it's an amazing and lovely hotel that will really impress you! Every detail is perfect, from the big and cosy room to the complete and good breakfast, and the girls gave us amazing tips for dinners and traditional places for aperitivo. Service is really perfect, we will definitely come back here the next time we will visit Venice!

Room Tip: Room in the attic was simply amazing!

Ca' San Giorgio was a fabulous experience. Situated just ten minutes from the train station but in a real neighborhood and away from the main tourist track. It is just around the corner from cafes, restaurants and a charming piazza where Veneziani walk their dogs, take their children and do their shopping. Alessia and Silvia went out of their way to be helpful and always with a big smiles. I have found my retreat in Venice! I cannot wait to return!

Room Tip: All good, we were downstairs but I heard the upstairs rooms may have a view.

We had the upstairs room which had a deck, this is hands down the best place we stayed during the two weeks we spent traveling. The staff is excellent, it is not that difficult to find and the canal boats are not that hard to get to once you get your bearings. They have a breakfast included and if you use the Hotel web site, the room prices are better than Booking or the other sites. This is an excellent place and romantic, romantic. It is a small eight room hotel, away from the main San Marco square, and worth the ten minute trip via boat. Overall Venice, even when cold is packed and a must see, whether as a couple or single.

Located in more residential part of Venice near to rail and bus stations which we really liked - enjoyed seeing the school children playing in the nearby square after school. Unprepossessing entrance leads into a sensitively renovated surroundings with excellent customer service. Stayed in Junior suite which was spacious (bathroom had wonderful tiles) and there is a lovely outside space. Everything was exceptionally clean and well organised and the staff were very helpful and friendly - example on check out we asked if they could keep lour bags until later in the afternoon - answer was yes and "please feel free to use our coffee lounge until you leave". Well placed between two Vaparetto stops on the number 1 line on the Grand Canal - wouhttps://c1.tacdn.com/img2/x.gifld definitely return.

Just spent several nights in this wonderful B&B which is a true gem and an excellent value in the heart of Venice! The pictures on their website are true to life: Our junior suite was gorgeous, very quiet even though it gave onto the street, and vast with a delightful terrace (some reviewer mentioned mosquitoes even in the winter??? Well, I did not see any). Everything about this place is refined and lovely: there is a cozy library room where you can help yourself all day long to coffee, tea or cookies and browse through books about Venice, there is a nice breakfast room with a great breakfast (delicious fresh croissants and rolls, fresh oranges to make your own juice, soft boiled eggs, fruit, cold cuts, cheese, best cappuccino ever, etc.). The service is warm, yet discreet, the setting is very convenient, right across from the Museum of Natural History, and 2 blocks from the San Stae vaporetto stop. We left our car at the airport in the 6eu/day lot and took the nearby waterbus called Alilaguna (make sure to take the orange line: it goes to San Stae vaporetto stop): we did not take the bus as advised since we would have had to walk all the way to the bus stop at the entrance of the airport. Instead we found this waterbus right next to the carparking. It is a little more expensive than the bus, but very much worth it (no hassle, direct, 30mn on the laguna and the Grand Canal, round trip costs 27eu pp).
Alessia and Sylvia at the front desk were amazingly courteous and helpful! Their recommandation to tour the islands around Venice, away from the crowds of central Venice was great and very easy: 1st, take the “public” gondola (traghetto: 2eu pp) next to BB to cross over to the Canareggio neighborhood, then walk to the “Fondamento Nuovo” embarcadero where a water bus takes you to the island of Murano ( nothing exceptional, don’t spend much time on it), then on to the island of Burano (great, very colorful houses) then to the island of Torcello (the best one! A very quiet, dutch like island with a charming small cathedral). Make sure you buy a vaporetto pass at any Tabacchi shop before going to visit the islands (any one way trip on vaporettos costs 7eu, whereas the pass costs 18eu for 12 hrs, 20eu for 24hrs, etc.)
We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return! Remember Venice is made of 110 small islands linked by hundreds of bridges, SO pack light or take a suitcase with good wheels and if you have a baby, do take a back carrier and not a stroller! Enjoy!

Room Tip: All rooms are great! we loved our junior suit on 2nd floor
