We arrived to a very warm welcome after being sent tailored directions (otherwise we would never have found it!) from the airport. If you email a few days before they send you very precise instructions for how to get to the hotel from wherever you arrive from.
The rooms are perfect for a city break as they have a safe, en suite (which was a bit small), wifi and storage space for the few days you need it.
The hotel itself is in the best position as it is literally a 2 minute walk from St Marks Square where there is lots of places to eat and drink.
The staff are only there until about 11am, but while they are there they are incredibly sweet and attentive.
The breakfast is basic and continental but absolutely fine if you want to be up and about early.
The rooms get quite hot but there is an air con unit in the room which is great for the summer!

I spent 2 nights at this hotel while on business, and found it to be one of the best yet. It's a little tricky to find, especially at night. If you can find the Hotel Noemi, the hotel is on the same side, but 3 doors down. For me, it was another last minute booking, so I was really happy that they fit me in.

The room itself is of classic Venetion style. That means it's small by UK/US standards. That said, it was one of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed at in Italy. There are I think, only 6 rooms, and the room I had looked out at another building. With that in mind, if I wanted a view, San Marco Square was 1 minutes walk away. Everything I needed was right by the hotel, and this included a laundry which was 5 mins walk away. Also, good Wifi.

Bathroom was clean, and of the usual size. But, it was clean. As was the rest of the room. If you are travelling with kids, or a lot of luggage, then you will probably struggle as you need to negotiate a narrow stairwell.

Breakfast, of the Continental variety was brought straight to the room. Just dial the number given, and within minutes it magically appears. Good, hot fresh coffee!

The staff are not at the hotel all day, but if you arrive by 1300, ring the bell and someone will let you in. They are very helpful, and as I needed to extend my stay, they found me a room at the Hotel Noemi, as they couldn't fit me in.

Would I stay again? Absolutely!!

Room Tip: If overlooking the main street, keep the window closed and use the aircon, as the bar 20m away is op...

We spent 2 days here in a classic double bed room. The interior design is good, very Venetian style with golden bed and furniture. Room is not big with a tiny bathroom. Wifi signal is not strong enough for iPhone 5. The whole hotel only has 4 to 5 rooms with a very cramped hallway.
Location is somewhat in the center but took us quite long to walk from the pier.
Excellent breakfast service at room with good coffee.

My friend and I spent 4 nights at this tiny little haven literally just around 2 corners from San Marco Square. We arrived on the 4th of July and were met with a gift of a little Murano glass figure,a package of Italian cookies and a bottle of Proseco. Beatrice and Enrico could not be sweeter or more accomodating. Some have said they did not feel safe, but we had no problem with that at all. The front door remained locked at all times, and guests are given a set of keys. True, the hosts leave late in the morning, but after delivering a satisfying breakfast to your room, and after all of the cleaning is done. It worked well for us. My one and only complaint was that the bed was hard, and the pillows flat, but there were extras. The room and bathroom were small, but cozy and nicely decorated. And very very quiet, except for the bells from the square, which only added to the ambience. P.S. The wifi was really good!

This is not your typical hotel. The owners have a another business in the same street and don't stay in this building. The hotel has only 4 rooms. The reception is only a hatch over an alcove. It's up a flight of stairs and there's no lift. Maybe a few "odd" things but let's move on what's good.
The rooms are just big enough. You won't get big rooms in Venice so they are par for the course. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were clean and everything you need.
The location is fantastic. You are less than 5 minutes walking from St Marks Square. Rialto Bridge is maybe 15 minutes walk. The location means that you can beat the queues for various activities.
The two people we met were great. When we arrived a man helped us get our two cases up the narrow stairs and made us coffee which was very much appreciated. He also gave us two logins for the (good) wireless internet.
A woman made us a continental breakfast both mornings with yoghurts, cheeses and cold cut meats which was served in our room. I enjoyed eating the breakfast with the window open listening to the hubbub in the street below. The room was well air-conditioned and at night when you closed up the double glazing you couldn't hear anyone in the street.
So not your typical hotel but a very interesting stay. We felt it added to the fun of our first trip to Venice and were glad we stayed there.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights. The location is perfect, just a few meters from St Marco square, and a easy walk from the Water bus that we had to take from the airport. Stop at the Realto station and walk about 100 meters to the hotel. A bit tricky to find, but so are all the small hotels in Venice. When confirming the booking by e-mail before our trip, the owner send a map, with directions.

The room was typical Venetian decor, and our room faced another building, but that was fine, because that meant we had no disturbance from the street below. The room was small, but very clean and neat. They serve a very small breakfast in bed (no space for a breakfast room), but we did not care much about breakfast anyway, since we bought cheap food and drinks at a nearby supermarket.

We absolutely loved our stay in Venice, and the location of the hotel made this VERY easy. Do not expect much, but the city will make up for anything that you miss out on at the hotel.

The owner helped us with our questions, and was friendly with us.

I can recommend this hotel, if u want to stay close to St Marco square for cheap, and have a nice central spot in the city.
