Stayed for 2 nights and loved it! Great location close to restaurants and shopping. Our rm was perfect for 2 pple and had a nice view and comfy beds. Breakfast was good with eggs, meats, cheese and fruits. My only problem was the stairs ( located on 3rd floor).

Stayed at Ca’Riccio one night post cruise.
The hotel was difficult to find, but everything in Venice seems to be. We walked from Piazzale Roma to Rialto and then navigated from there to the hotel but in hindsight it would have been easier to take a Vaporetto to Fondamenta Nuove and then it is about a 5 minute walk from there in almost a straight line.
We had booked the hotel but there seemed to be some confusion with our booking that involved us being transferred to an apartment several minutes walk away though there was no difference in price. The apartment was clean and spacious, second floor with a full kitchen and clean modern bathroom with shower. We appreciated the fact it was also equipped with window shutters that could be closed to keep out any street noise and light. Bed was comfortable but the A/C was kind of noisy and did not seem to do much in the way of cooling, we felt we were luck it was not very hot when we stayed.
Had to walk back to the hotel for breakfast which was good and consisted of eggs, ham, toast, juice, coffee and an assortment of fruit. The staff were accommodating and had no problem with us leaving our luggage there for us to collect later.

I stayed at Ca' Riccio with my daughters in May; we all really enjoyed it. We ended up in a lovely room at the top of the house (exposed wood beams, cast iron bedsteads and a pretty bathroom) with lots of room for the 3 of us. Breakfast was huge and delicious -- I especially liked the torte! -- but there was also fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, yogurt, cookies; make-your-own grilled sandwiches, hot chocolate and juices as well as cappuccino. The owners have decorated the place with lots of Murano glass; flowers on the windowsill in the hallway; all very pretty. The best part, though, was the friendly welcome; we were delayed at the airport and my daughter and her grandparents, who arrived ahead of us at Ca' Riccio, were welcomed with cookies and tea and conversation while they waited. Many thanks for a wonderful welcome to Italy!

This hotel was close to the water bus stop and was easy to find thanks to the instructions received by the owner. Our room was on the third floor and they don't have a lift so it was a bit of an effort to bring the suitcases up. The rooms are small but comfortable and the en-suite has everything you need. Breakfast was the best we had had in Italy and included eggs and bacon, which was great. The B & B is also close to the sites and only a ten minute walk to the Rialto Bridge.

Room Tip: See if you can book a room on a lower level as they don't have a lift.

We stayed at Ca' Riccio for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a good size, nicely decorated with lots of interesting bits and pieces, and there is fridge! The hotel is close to everything but off the main tourist routes so very quiet and breakfasts are great too. The service is good, though some of the staff can seem a bit surly, but they do a good job. The directions to get there are a bit skinny and you will understand why everyone gets lost in Venice when you get on the ground - we got to the hotel from the railway station in about 45 minutes with the assistance of a map and Mr Google. We took the Vaporetto (water bus) to Rialto bridge and walked - it is probably easier to Vaporetto to Fondamente Nuova as the walking distance is much less and the route more direct. From the hotel we walked to all the main sites, got lost at least once a day and used the Vaporetto a few times to save the legs. Go there!

Pros: location is on a quiet street close to the tourist area, but not in the midst of the crowds and noise. There is a great restaurant called La Collonia close by. The price was right. The evening worker was earnest in her attempt to provide good customer service, which we really appreciated. The bed was decently comfortable.
Cons: when we arrived after several flight delays, reception had no record of our reservation even though we had been communicating with the hotel as recently as a couple of hours ago. They had a room available, but it was an attic loft with very low ceilings, no shower, and an air-con that was no match for the August heat. We are both tall, and there was only once place in the room where we could stand up straight. The bathroom had a large tub, where we took cold baths to cool down, but no ventilation. The power went off for an hour to 10 minutes frequently, especially on our side of the hotel. We were the only room on that side, and the other side of the hotel kept its power more frequently. Breakfast was between 8-10 am, but the eggs and meat were not brought out until 8:30-8:45. We were down at 8 trying to beat the crowds and the heat. Cold cereal, yogurt, and cake were out by 8, and coffee was ready within 5 minutes of our asking for it. With the exception of the helpful woman who worked nights, the service policy was to say no first and clarify the request later.
This B&B would be fine for a childless couple who didn't mind sacrificing a little comfort for a good price, although I do not recommend the attic room. I would not recommend this hotel for families.

Good location, it was easy to walk to the major sites in Venice.

Rooms were okay for the most part. Our bathroom had bad mold issues and water was dripping from the ceiling (I assume it was from the bathroom in the room above us).

Service was odd. Sometimes there would be someone there, and sometimes not. I never could find anyone to tell about our bathroom.
