We are a couple half Italian and half australian in our 30s. We have travelled quite a lot in different parts of the world, and we must say this is by far the best accommodation we have ever seen. The location is excellent, close to the main road connecting the station to San Marco but slightly away from the crowded area, along a peaceful and quiet secondary canal.
We stayed in the "canal room". The room is perfectly clean and quite large, it has two windows overlooking the canal and a big new wardrobe, air conditioning and ensuite bathroom. The room is furnished with taste and the double bed has a very comfy and firm mattress, sleeping quality is superb. The bathroom is new, large and very clean and features a huge shower and a window on the canal. Wi-fi is free and works very well. The room is cleaned every morning.
Sandra and her husband are a beautiful couple and the most welcoming hosts, there if you need them but they also give you a suitable amount of privacy. The day we arrived it was raining hard and when we got to the b&b we were completely wet. Sandra let us in, helped us with the luggage and she dried them thoroughly with a cloth!
The room has a tea/coffee table and every day Sandra puts a couple of slices of freshly made cake on it. Breakfast is perfection and includes a great selection of sweet and savoury fresh food, mostly baked by Sandra every morning.
Sandra and her husband were also very helpful in providing recommendations for nearby restaurants, cafés and things to do. No matter what your expectations are, you will love this place. If you are coming to Venice make sure you book a room here, you will not regret it.

Sandra B&B, what a delightful memory! Our recent trip was for three nights in the attic suite with a deck overlooking Venice.

First, the room itself is delightful, lots and lots of space, with an additional sitting room. The bathroom is large and perfect with a skylight that opens! Like many European B&Bs, there are stairs without an elevator. The location is perfect for both being a tourist and also for experiencing the more hidden culinary delights which our fellow tourists can't find.

Second, the deck has its own table and chairs, and with a glass wine this is both scenic and extremely romantic. Don't miss this!

Third, the breakfast is beyond belief. It changes every day, and it is a feast!

Fourth, Sandra and Leonardo are the most warm, competent, and beautiful people you could ever hope to meet. By the time you leave, they might be our friends or even more like family.

My wife and are were more than delighted!

Room Tip: Get the attic room, if you can, but all rooms are delightful! Attic room is big enough for a family and the kids would love it as will the adults.

We stayed with Sandra and Leonardo for 2 nights (Canal Room) in early May (prior to embarking on a cruise). Wow! All the positive reviews we read on Trip Advisor were true! We loved this B & B! Sandra and Leonardo are great hosts who make you feel right at home, The breakfast is spectacular (loved the quiche dish!) - and our room had more than enough space for us - and a great view of the canal. Just follow Sandra's recommendations for restaurants and you can't go wrong (we loved the chichitti at Vino Vero around the corner!). We LOVED the Cannaregio location of this B and B. People say that Venice is crowded and overrun with tourists - to be honest, we didn't notice. It was nice to explore the city during the day (and yes - St, Mark's Square is crowded) - but we could return each night (or sometimes during the day for a nap!) to Sandra's B and B - for a real Venice neighbourhood experience. We were able to easily walk or take the vaporetto to all the sites - but always ate dinner in the Cannaregio district. We walked to the B & B from Piazalle Roma using Sandra's excellent step by step directions - it only took about 20 minutes. This place was a little slice of heaven - we will be back!

Room Tip: Apparently, the Canal Room is the smallest, but it was great for us. And the bathroom was a good size. There is some noise from the canal, but it never bothered us or prevented us from sleeping. It just added to the Venice experience. We didn't see the other rooms, so can't compare.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights with Sandra and Leonardo and enjoyed every moment.
This couple are so welcoming and must enjoy peolpe given the trouble they go to.
This is most definately a 5 star B&B for not only the quality of the accomodation but also for the effort to make you feel at home.
Rooms are well appointed and cleaned daily. After you return from seeing the sights there is delicious cake waiting and coffee/tea facilities in your room.
Breakfast is a full continental affair with something for everyone.
Quite simply a very pleasant place to stay, just out of the main thoroughfair so its nice and quiet as well.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The Canal room has a nice view

We spent 4 nights at Sandra's B & B. The location is great for people wanting to be away from the masses (Venice is small, so everything's always in a good reach).
We stayed in the Attic Room, which is spacious, extremely well kept, very clean and has a gorgeous terrace with a wonderful view over Venice. The AC is convenient for hot days.
Breakfast: awesome! Fresh fruit, lovingly arranged by Leonardo, freshly squeezed orange juice, local cheeses, delicious homemade cakes and savory pastries, made by Sandra. Since we mentioned being vegetarians, we found yummy vegetarian pastries on the buffet. The table was differently laid and thoroughly decorated each day, it was a delight.
Both, Sandra and Leonardo, were very attentive, yet unobtrusive. We felt very welcome and are looking forward to coming back.
