“A Multi-night destination”
Reviewed 8 June 2013

This hotel is fantastic but it does take some effort to get there and it is definitely a place you would want to spend a few nights. if you're going for one night or even two, don't bother. Getting there is a challenge and their directions online are not the best, but once you DO get there, it is well worth the journey. As long as you have time to enjoy it.

The hotel is across the canal from the main area of Venice so accessing any of the tourist areas or main shopping or dining areas needs to be done via the boat shuttle. So, as long as you're not in a hurry, it's great.

the hotel is BEAUTIFUL. it is actually one of the nicest Hilton properties I have ever stayed at. Our room was amazing (we were upgraded from the room I had booked with Hilton) and they gave us a suite, which was bigger than most Italian apartments. A large living room, an equally large bedroom and a lovely bathroom. The bed was amazing, the shower was fantastic and it was quiet.

The hotel has lots of amenities to enjoy and I only wish we had stayed longer to enjoy them. Like I said, this is the kind of place that you need to spend a FEW nights. but overall it was really lovely and we will go back, especially now that we know how to actually reach the hotel.

The most romantic hotel I have ever stayed at. The perfect combination between the upper class service level of Hilton hotels and the romantic scene and style from Venice comes together at Hilton Molino Stucky Venice. Go to the roof to have a beautiful view over Venice and don't forget to book breakfast: it is amazing!

Great Hotel with superb views of Venice.

All the front desk staff were very friendly and professional. I have to particularly thank Annimi Schifferegger, Gloria Bevilacque and Marko Ludovici for all their help to my wife and myself during our stay.

The hotel provides a complimentary water bus transfer from the hotel to Zattere and St. Marks Square, again brilliant service. On the roof was a lovely pool area with again marvelous views of Venice and Giudecca Island.

We are Hilton Gold members but unfortunately no upgrade! Fortunately we had already paid extra for an Executive room which gives access to the Lounge with a very good breakfast and evening hot snacks with drinks. The lounge is a little bit small. Even though my profile request high floor we were give a room on the second floor immediately above the shuttle water bus dock, very noisy all night as it is continually moving in the water. The room was small for an Executive room and also quite dark, needs more lighting in the wardrobe area.

Once again thanks to Annimi, Gloria and Marko.

The driving directions to the hotel were incomplete, and we ended up quite confused about which boat shuttle to take from the parking garage. Staff is mixed between helpful and unhelpful people. When we check in the staff was divided over whether to be helpful or not--after much persistence, we were allowed to change our room (which was prebooked for 3, but too small). The second bellhop we worked with gave us most of the information we needed about the hotel that the front desk staff and first bellhop did not give us. Same at breakfast and in the hallways--some helpful, some less so. The restaurants were fine, but limited and not spectacular or memorable--you can special order things at breakfast like eggs, but they don't make this obvious. This hotel is significantly better than most options in Venice, and on a separately island with a frequent shuttle service that is pleasant and fun, but you are not at the best Hilton you have ever been in.

Stayed at this hotel during our recent first trip to Venice. We arrived by train to Venice and it was a bit tricky to try to figure out how to get to the hotel as they did not have directions if arriving by train. Once we made it, we were thrilled.
The location, across the main waterway, overlooking Venice was amazing. The hotel is an old mill that has been resoted an rennovated into this magnificant hotel. There is great charm and sophistaicated elegance about this property.
The room we had was gorgeous and our window opened onto the view of Venice. What more could we want?!
The rooftop bar is amazing, however we could only enjoy for one evening as it was closed for a private function on our second night. The service in the lobby bar was disappointing, so this would be the only negative about our stay here. IOt was much too cold to swim, but we took a look at the rooftop pool and the view was incredible.
Breakfast was lovely and a large selection of foods available. This has become one of our favorite Hiltons so far.

Room Tip: Ask for a Venice view and you cant go wrong. Rooms have windows that open to allow you to take in t...

Most of you will say that all of Venice is a view but staying at this Hilton allowed us to view Venice with a wonderful view across from the Grand Canal. We were greeted very warmly by the staff and they answered all of our questions with graciousness. This Hilton has character as they turned an old mill into the hotel. There are wood beams and interesting ceilings with windows that open. You can see the cruise ships go by as they enter and leave Venice which is a site. There is convenient shuttle service from the hotel to San Marco square and other stops. But plan accordingly if you are meeting friends as these usually leave on the 1/2 hour. When going back to Venice will stay here again.

Hilton's investment in Venice is in an old mill on Giudecca island with beautiful views of San Marco. The wood-beamed ceilings, Italian glass chandeliers, and comfortable guest rooms with windows that open to complete the Venice experience, all create an exceptional experience. It would be hard to believe that there are rooftop pools elsewhere in the world with views like this one. The Skye Bar and restaurant is a popular spot to see the sunset that creates the beautiful Venice glow. The hotel has its own water taxi to transport you to San Marco -- if you want to deal with those crowds. Giudecca has its own canal walk with small cafes and shops. We had a delicious meal in the Bacaromi restaurant -- risotto with grilled shrimps and asparagus and tagliatelle with braised lamb. For guests traveling to the airport, the hotel is the first morning stop on the Aliliaguna water bus line. If there is a downside, some guests complained that the breakfast buffet did not start until 7 am, so those catching an early flight missed out. However, you could order a breakfast to go. Overall, a good spot.
