While my stay with the Hilton Molino Stucky may not be the typical since I am a Hilton Diamond member and get extra perks - my experience was amazing! Traveling through Italy with my Sister on an adventure of a lifetime - we stayed a couple nights here on points.
Travel from the train station is not convenient, but it was definitely an adventure and can be done inexpensively if you travel by water bus and transfer to the free Hilton boat. Even with luggage in tow, we had no difficulty.
We were upgraded to a beautiful suite overlooking the main canal. The room was absolutely beautiful. Could not have asked for a better room.
We took advantage of a last minute special at the spa and treated ourselves to a massage our first evening. Very nice experience after a day of travel.
The Executive lounge area was on the first floor overlooking the canal. It was well stocked with beverages and snacks throughout the day with heartier options at breakfast, snack and happy hour.
The staff was a pleasure. I look forward to the opportunity to vacation with the Molino Stucky again one day.

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking the canal.

The main reason we had booked this hotel was for the rooftop pool but it was closed for a week. Hard to believe the maintenance could not have been done when it's closed for maintenance Oct - April. €16 for 2 take away coffees is the price you can expect to pay for anything in the Hotel - I'd suggest getting boat across the water to Zattere and going to a wonderful café and having a slap up brekkie for €16! Location really is great, cannot be faulted. Have a Nutella bar which I didn't know about on booking so a lovely surprise. Concierge was good, didn't eat a meal in the hotel so cannot comment. Wanted to sample all the locals wares which did not disappoint. would stay again - assuming they decide to open the pool.

Dear Sir, dear Madame,

Thank you very much for all your positive comments.
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice and we hope we can welcome you soon again here in Venice, maybe in summer time so to enjoy our rooftop pool.

May I take this opportunity to confirm that the IceSky pool terrace and our Skylunch are indeed open on a seasonal basis (usually 15th May to September); however the Skyline Bar and terraces are open every day of the year (from 5 PM until after midnight) and our guests can enjoy a unique and spectacular view over the city of Venice and its lagoon.

Thank you for being our guests and best regards.

On general the hotel is nice but the room types are big lie. It is really pitty to had this experience in a great location like Venice. Paying more for view and having a very noisy room without room.. Not fair..

Dear Sir/Madame,

We are sorry to hear that you feel this way, however we are most appreciative of your TripAdvisor review regarding your stay at our hotel. You can be assured that we are most concerned our establishment did not offer you the usual standards expected by guests at Hilton.

We appreciate being advised of any breach in the usual service for which our hotel is noted.

Please reach out to me personally at gm.venice@hilton.com with your check in date and confirmation number. With this information I can investigate as regards the room which was assigned to you.

Traveling within western Europe two months per year for decades, we chose this American-style hotel to achieve comfort and good working facilities. all hotel services met the highest international standards. However, ferry (shuttle) services across the canal were once an hour and then sometimes once every two hours if boats were full. we will never stay here again. Fix this problem: every 15 minutes, a boat!

Dear Madame,

Thank you for posting your review on Trip Advisor and for sharing your opinion on the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice.
I do regret that you did not find our complimentary shuttle service to be efficient and adequate to your needs, however we can offer a guaranteed maximum number of seats and we are sorry that during your stay you were experiencing some difficulties in finding available space. In some circumstances, as an alternative, we are pleased to offer tickets for ACTV public transportation. The stop is only a few minutes’ walk away and a regular service connects any part of Venice with departures every 10 minutes. May I also take this opportunity to confirm that our shuttle leaves twice every hour to Zattere which is right in front of the hotel on the main island.

Although you express some disappointment, I hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back in the not too distant future so that we can demonstrate the high level of service we are renowned for.

Best regards,

I had very high hopes for this hotel but was mildly disappointed. The rooms were quite average, the restaurants expensive and service was ok. The view from the Sky bar is beautiful, one of the best of Venice. Unfortunately for us the pool was not open as the refurbishments were not complete. We were there as part of a conference and the hotel catered very well for such a large group unless you are like me a vegetarian, or vegetable as the staff liked to call me. They missed out on one course, were so long bringing another everyone on the table had finished eating so I told them not to bother, then tried to have me eat ravioli, which was filled with vegetables but had a foie gras cream. The spa is 25 euros a day, for a jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room which seems a bit steep. The breakfast was a bit haphazard. The tables were not cleared very quickly and the food was lukewarm. All in all my expectations were not met.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of Venice, not the interior walls as we had (room 259)

Recently stayed in Venice on a work conference, fantastic place to visit for a few days only. We stayed at the Hilton Molino Stucky, very nice hotel indeed and were lucky enough to have a Venice view room, fantastic to wake up to that view even when a cruiseliner passes by. The skybar in the evening is a very cool place to have a drink whilst watching the sun set over Venice.

We chose this hotel to take a large group (170) of business colleagues for a conference, and we could not have made a better choice. Venice is unique enough in itself, but the location of the Molino Stucky (on the island of Guidecca) just added to the joy of this fabulous city. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. Staff all super friendly and helpful. The hotel water taxi service to and from Venice runs on time, and frequently. Even though this is a large hotel (370+ rooms) it really does not feel like it, as the accommodation is across 4 'towers' - so it never feels busy or crowded, even at full capacity (as it was the weekend we stayed). The views from the Sky Bar are incredible and not to be missed..... especially the sunset. We have stayed in many hotels in Venice over several years but this was, without doubt, a unique experience. We will be back!!

Room Tip: Try to get a corner room facing the canal. Its worth paying extra for!!
