“Great hotel, Panoramic venice views ”
Reviewed 18 August 2014 via mobile

Our family stayed at the Hilton Stuckney for a few nights before heading on a cruise. This was our second time to Venice but first time staying at this hotel and have to say we were very pleased. The hotel itself is very nice and well maintained , the service was very good from the front desk, bell men and restaurant staff. Our favorite part though was the hotel pool and lounge area. A fantastic view of the grand canal and venice area both by day in the pool and night at the lounge. The free ferry service was as promised and very easy to use , a very quick trip to San Marco. I actually preferred staying across the canal as there are several nice restaraunts near the hotel and a little but of reprieve from the crowds. Overall great stay for a couple of days.

the location service and overall standard of the hotel is excellent, views from the top bar simply add value , staff are helpful and attentive , the hotel is large but as its a coverted building it feels smaller and more quaint lovely place wouldn't stay anywhere else even has free shuttle to st marks

Title says it all really... Location is perhaps not the best but the hotel on whole is. Immaculate, has a shuttle boat complementary every 15 minutes to the main areas... Rooms immaculate however 6 euro for a bottle of water seemed slightly expensive in the mini bar..

Sky bar amazing and the pool is fantastic, great cocktails available also!! Highly recommended and importantly.. Would travel back again and again.

The hotel is a well refurbished building, however the executive rooms are extreemly small. The front desk staff try hard to please and the boat service is very good. The thing that offended me was the internet charge which normally would be free for executive floor patrons was very high, when I asked about this I was told "I hear this all the time". The answer was not what was to be expected.

Room Tip: Don't make this your first choice

Fine dining at its best! The perfect way to end a day seated on the terrace overlooking the water,
looked after by Maitre d' Giovanni Burrafato and his staff!! Nothing was too much trouble - the food was excellent with unbelievable service! Giovanni and his staff make every guest feel special ,and are there to ensure the evening is an experience you will never forget. They are relaxed and smiling while working so hard to give every guest a memorable time. We were lucky enough to celebrate our Golden Wedding here with family and after the most wonderful evenings where they looked after our every need we all have the most precious memories . Thank you Giovanni and all your staff. If you are in Venice book a table now! I promise you will be well looked after!! Try and make time to visit the adjacent Bacaro Venetian Restaurant where you will be well looked after by Guiseppe.
The executive rooms with a view over the rooftops of Venice and life on the canal were one of the best hotel room views we have ever had!
No matter where we were going in the hotel we were greeted by every hotel member of staff whom we passed and all had a smile. Not all hotels in Venice consider this important!!
Thanks to the General Manager and his staff. Your staff training is second to none, and we can't wait to return!! Jenny Briggs London

Room Tip: Executive room with a view

Venice was our last stop at the euro trip! Hence i was expecting the stay to be flawless in order for us to go back with sweet memories. And i take an opportunity to thank the hotel & its staff for making our stay joy-able. The location, property, rooms everything hits the list! Pretty view of canal with the transport facility each hour which makes it valuable. When you are staying at hilton, venice you dont need to spend each time u hop on & off to san marco square! The only thing which little disappointment me was the room service. They were good, however we had ordered for a wine chiller which came to us within few minutes minues the wine glasses, when we reminded the room service personnel, she said that she will get back, however the time she got back to us, the bottle of wine was almost hot with the melted ice as leftover! In wee hours, all they really need to buck up is on their speed! Rest it was a nice experience. Keep up the good work!

Venice was the third stop on this Europe trip for my wife and I. It was the only city in which we had decided to stay in a full-service, American-brand/chain hotel, and it was absolutely spectacular. I am a Hilton Honors gold member and primarily use Hilton-family properties in the US when traveling. In Europe, I tend to seek out smaller locally-owned hotels, but this Hilton in Venice was too good to pass up. Hilton bought and renovated a former flour mill building on a Venice island across the basin from St. Mark's Square. The hotel is beautiful from top to bottom, with large rooms, beautiful furnishings, well-appointed and large bathrooms, etc, etc. The rooftop swimming pool and bar with views of Venice are not to be missed. All of the concierge staff are members of Les Clefs d'Or, and so their service is top notch; we consulted with the concierge staff for most of our restaurant recommendations in Venice and were never disappointed. As a HHonors gold member, we had the added benefit of free wifi, a room upgrade, and access to the executive lounge which was always stocked with beverages and snacks at all hours open, and provided a generous breakfast every morning. As I stated, the hotel is on a island like everything in Venice, but has its own private shuttle boat that crosses the basin from the hotel to a choice of two docks in the heart of everything you want to see and do in Venice. The hotel was truly a relaxing escape in a city where time stands still and all you want to do is relax with a good meal and a glass of wine gazing out at the water. I will definitely return to the Hilton Moline Stucky Venice.
